We focus a lot on how to improve town play, I dont think weve ever talked about winning scum strategies. Meta is your worst achillies if you arent scum. Our better scum players on here are often lynched but then their team still wins. I think ghug gets caught everytime but never loses

I dont wanna get into specifically naming off every player who does well as scum but theres certainly many of us who have had legendary scum performances here. I am not really very good as scum. I struggle to make my town credentials last more than a phase or two because I really cant hide my wincon. Most of you know when im scum, as im pretty obvious as one.

I had 1 very strong performance here as scum once and it sort of forever cemented me as being someone to pay attention too for a basic level of flip flopping and fakery.

Now its also true however that a strong town meta of being wild and unpredictable makes being scum easier. A weak town meta of being unhelpful and lurky ALSO helps scum meta.

I like to think when I used to try harder and put alot of thought into my game that I was easy to townread but I was just getting on peoples nerves. If youre scum, its very hard to play to be annoying. Its hard to play with reckless abandon for the truths and identity of what your flip reveals. If able, players who post a ton can do a great job of laying foundations of what if, wifom, and would they or wouldnt they moments.

Making yourself hard to reread is interesting. But at the end of the day reading how other people react to the scum flip when it was still.alive is optimal. With best play scum shouldnt ever win.

Ask HR sometime how it feels to play scum.

If you can read 7 posts by someone and logically infer theyre town, then ideally 107 more posts that phase isnt necessary. Sometimes I dont know what compels me to be that guy, as bo has called "the filler king". I suspect it has a lot to do with wanting to be listened too, a lack of faith in others, boredom, and a sense of wanting to acheive greatness.

The intention is valid, I guess my style is probably annoying or too cluttering.
