Re: Guessing Game 59- The Cold grip of Objectivism
For a moment there I thought I got it, and then I realized Interstellar isn't nearly old enough, so Dr Mann cannot be the answer.

Looks like we've stalled out at 13 questions, and y'all are struggling a bit. So here's a totally subjective answer that I think would help everyone get on the right tracks-
Quesiton-Have your girlfriends liked this movie?
Answer- Yeah, and they've seen it before me.

I have no clue how that's supposed to help!

Re: Guessing Game 59- The Cold grip of Objectivism
Sci-fi films more popular with female audiences than male...
Potato, potato; potato.
Re: Guessing Game 59- The Cold grip of Objectivism
I'm afraid that's not helping me much.... I've never given much thought to which sci-fi films would be more popular with women.
The stereotype would be to go with films that have male actors that are generally considered attractive. Which I already did when I went for Dr Mann (Matt Damon) so do not feel very proud of that. But then again, I have no clue which films would be more appealing to women. My wife is not really into sci-fi and my daughter seems to like them all.

I'll give y'all a couple more hours, so hopefully a few more people can think about the hint- if it's still stumping everyone I'll give another hint
Re: Guessing Game 59- The Cold grip of Objectivism
ok so a non-human villain from a sci fi movie that travels through space, the movie was from the 20th century, in this move the villain dies
Re: Guessing Game 59- The Cold grip of Objectivism
And since it's only one movie it can't be the predator or the xenomorph.
Is it the Thing? Why would you date the Thing?
Is it the Thing? Why would you date the Thing?
Re: Guessing Game 59- The Cold grip of Objectivism
Ah, no, it can't be the thing, because it's a male character and I don't think the Thing has a sex. Then I don't know. I take back my guess
Re: Guessing Game 59- The Cold grip of Objectivism
A spacefaring non-human male villain without supernatural abilities who appears and dies in only one live action Sci-Fi film made in the 20th century that is from neither the Star Wars nor Star Trek franchises.

Is it Frank-N-Furter?
I've never seen The Rocky Horror Picture Show, but this list is very helpful:

Wanted to do something for October, did not expect that the webdip community would have a lot of sci-fi fans who would not be thinking of this

Ohhhh. That movie doesn't naturally occur to me as falling into the sci-fi category, but I accept that it does.
Good one.
