It's good to know that it is my responsibility to make you feel valid in your stances. Sorry if you don't think I'm being nice enough to you.wolfu wrote: ↑Sun Sep 25, 2022 8:26 pmcool it's good to know that treating other players really rudely is the norm i guess?bo_sox48 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 25, 2022 2:21 pmYour cases are being glossed over because everyone glosses over everyone’s cases. This game is full of inactivity and had fewer players than normal and is easily still breaking 150 pages. Aint nobody got time for 10 paragraph long cases. You gotta give us the college style thesis statement or give your case the Buzzfeed YOU WON’T BELIEVE WHAT HAPPENS NEXT treatment to keep us into it.wolfu wrote: ↑Sat Sep 24, 2022 9:22 pm
again, i have made arguments beyond how sabi handled bona - i thought sabi's lengthy argument with demon that went nowhere was pointless and sabi did not really try to read demon or solve him at all as well. i think bona and demon attacking me is likely because i started being vocally suspicious of sabi. i thik sabi's play itself has been limp and not shown solving intent but has rather involved performatively distancing from when town was making incorrect votes.
i have explained this all in painstaking detail
i get the feeling that because i am unfamiliar to the regulars here, my cases are being glossed over or dismissed out of pocket rather than being given actual consideration. it is like my words do not really have value because people do not know me. i find it very aggravating to deal with.
In all seriousness, I have read your case - the first, second, and 67th time you made it - and given it consideration, which is the only reason I even considerwd that Besharam might be scum after saying with complete certainty earlier in the game that that was not the case. Do you expect me to regurgitate it back to you verbatim? Do you expect me to do my own longwinded analysis to try to build onto it? Some players might do that but I really don’t see a need.
some simple feedback on the basis of i agree with the points you are making or i disagree with the points you are making would be nice but atp since you have openly admitted to not wanting to read i don't expect that basic level of feedback

I'm pretty tired of caring about this game so if we didn't get this right today I think I'll go back to not caring about this game. Good luck!

"well reasoned scum reads on scum" is not a basis for clearing someone.celaph wrote: ↑Sun Sep 25, 2022 7:45 pmPart of why I wanted to hear more from Sabi is that they had some well reasoned scum reads on scum at various points. I liked their initial read on Bona and I liked their early challenge of Demon's townread on them.
What I don't know is whether Sabi was bussing and decided to back off for various reasons or is town with good instincts that was led astray for various reasons.
So I wouldn't say that I townread Sabi, but there are answers they could give that may help their case.
if you look at demon, bona, and rumi, they all at some point had reads on each other that were correct and "well reasoned".
scum can do this because they are informed of who is scum. their strategy this game, it would seem, was to try to distance from each other quite heavily.
the reason this fell apart was because they never showed any serious intent to push each other. (well, that and rumi imploding in the thread).
i categorically DO NOT believe sabi ever had a "well-reasoned" scumread on demon - they never really came close to giving a real read on demon. they argued with him and shaded him several times, but they NEVER attempted to seriously push demon, and i think that is incredibly partner-indicative
Re: M76 - Dungeons and Dragons - Game Thread [HIDDEN]
you are really an incredibly unpleasant person lol
Re: M76 - Dungeons and Dragons - Game Thread [HIDDEN]
and if you actually look at those events you can see that bona was clearly demotivated by them, and so i don't think displaying emotions in regard to an event that was devastating for the scumteam is a towntellbo_sox48 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 25, 2022 8:22 pmIf you have the sanity in you to read Rumi's mental breakdown, RHK's mind bogglingly stupid decision to go 1-for-1 with a VT, and Sabi's emotional outburst surrounding those events yes. D2 and D3.celaph wrote: ↑Sun Sep 25, 2022 7:54 pmAre there good town Sabi arguments from the early game?bo_sox48 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 25, 2022 2:21 pmIn all seriousness, I have read your case - the first, second, and 67th time you made it - and given it consideration, which is the only reason I even considerwd that Besharam might be scum after saying with complete certainty earlier in the game that that was not the case. i'm at a bit of a loss right now
the last mafia is probably someone who has positioned themself decently and that means they're going to be harder to figure out

Re: M76 - Dungeons and Dragons - Game Thread [HIDDEN]
Hell of a play to sacrifice your own teammate with a claim that outs him and makes us all believe you
Re: M76 - Dungeons and Dragons - Game Thread [HIDDEN]
i mean, nothing to do but wipe the slate clean and start over
the difficult part for me of course is that the crimsonfox/ragingike/celaph slot has been a non-entity so far in the game and that makes it harder to form a read on, because realistically apart from the theory about demon not sacrificing himself for an afk teammate, there's not a whole lot clearing that slot
