Re: M76 - Dungeons and Dragons - Game Thread [HIDDEN]
Look at the other wagons when I tied them vs Bona. They were stagnant nobody cared. When I tied Bona though not only was there a mass wave of unvotes but also quick movement onto Worcej that was not happening before. I expect that a town player would likely vote to untie the wagons but that much movement is much more indicative of TvS where as in TvT there's no need for that much movement from woofs because why would they care who goes over? The pure amount of movement is why I'm convinced Bona is woof.Hellenic Riot wrote: ↑Wed Sep 14, 2022 11:16 pmForced
This seems a very dubious reason to townread someone who is in their second ever game and thus is perfectly plausible to read as panicky scum, too.Tom Bombadil wrote: ↑Wed Sep 14, 2022 1:46 amI didn’t follow last game. Your post just came across as defensive when you had no reason to be. Comes across as someone town being afraid of being wrong. Not sure there is any reason for a scumbo to make that post besides to just say things and there are ways to say things that are less attention drawing imo.Rumi Tobari wrote: ↑Wed Sep 14, 2022 1:36 am
I'd like to like last game, again warn us all about interpreting cluelessness and newness as towniness, because any one of us could be scum, yes including me.
But if I ask any questions that you think are "obvious" or "common sense" knowledge, that's why I'm asking them.
The idea that anyone can believe Paradox Interactive would ever fix their AI is extremely sus.Bonatogether wrote: ↑Wed Sep 14, 2022 1:41 amnew eu4 update, supposedly the ai is fixed, ignoring yall![]()
Forced discussion change on point nobody will care about.Tom Bombadil wrote: ↑Wed Sep 14, 2022 12:22 pmWhat do we make of damo actually comparing the results of bozos survey? Does scum or town damo actually care about the results? Or is it NAI?
Someone sounds like they have a live mafia background. On the flip side, the contrarian in me needs to point out that arguing about mech-talk being a waste of time is just as much of a waste of time as letting it happen and be ignored, and perhaps even more so.Princess Neon wrote: ↑Wed Sep 14, 2022 1:38 pmI suck at explaining things but I will attempt to
It is common for scum to hide behind appearing helpful while really doing almost nothing at all. A common way for scum to do this is mech talk. By appearing invested in solving mech the scum can appear to be putting in great effort to help town when in actuality solving mech is rarely even useful to town. A basic understanding of the mech behind the game. Good. 60% of your posts devoted to one aspect of mech bad.
Posed another way, mech doesn't solve games. Sure mech in the form of town PR is important but this survey is a waste of valuable discussion and time. It is not beneficial as a reaction test it doesn't help us find scum it is a distraction

why did you skip to my second post responding to you, and why was this what you had to say?
I don't like it when brain explains things he's thinking and I actually understand it.brainbomb wrote: ↑Wed Sep 14, 2022 3:11 pmDemonRHK entry into the game felt pretty legit. I have seen him post that way as town quite often. One issue he runs into is that he will look super aggro and hungry but then just disappear and it tends to diminish the might of tonereads on him.
I beleived he was town at the time and I think hes voting for potential scum although darg is my closest friend here and his AtE is coming at me hard right now.
Damo is more just, if I find him totally annoying and I wanna kill him or strangle him hes town. Usually he does something that is ridiculously irritating when he is town and this feels like that. I dont know his scumgame as well but I think its not that powerful. he gets caught as a wolf alot. not to say he is bad, but his tricks are well documented and known by this community.
Aside from how early it is to be posting reads lists, this is about as inoffensive to everyone as one could possibly construct one. Strong dislike.wolfu wrote: ↑Wed Sep 14, 2022 6:01 pmtown reads

the rdrivera thing brainbomb pointed out feels like a token scum move, to go back and re-use an opener faking not knowing the game started. not sure i'd want to yeet someone over it on day 1 though
doesn't really feel like day 1 of a 17 player game so far, some of that probably owed to 4/17 having almost no content, some of it probably due to the shortened phase length without added urgency
honestly would wager 1 scum at most in the 0/1 posters (hellenic/CFox/bo_sox/rdrivera) but that's a blind guess.
didn't really like how dargory responded to pressure at all
Defending people instead of letting them defend themselves is bad.BesharamSabi wrote: ↑Wed Sep 14, 2022 7:52 pmProbably have one liners but sure. I can show you games where has done this numerous times.
The fact you can apparently back up all of those reads makes me more suspicious, rather than less.
Good question
Utterly detest this throw everything at the wall and hope something sticks approach post darg claim.Bold anger from someone who reclused themselves from voting at allRumi Tobari wrote: ↑Wed Sep 14, 2022 9:13 pmWhat the fuck just happened. How did we flashwagon the doctor. How did we get like, two opposing wagons to darg then somehow managed to kill a PR?
Why does it imply that? Why can't it be town vs town? How would it be different if it were Town vs Town than if it were Town vs Scum?Princess Neon wrote: ↑Wed Sep 14, 2022 9:29 pmI purposely tied Bona and Worcej with 5 minutes to EoD to see what would happen. The wagon movement onto town implies to me that Bona is a big ole woofy woof.rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 14, 2022 9:25 pmWhat an awful D1 result and people are more worried with personal things, this is weird.
I really dislike Bo at EOD and after. Dargo will be sorted one way or another and he knows it.
Bona catch up after EOD is weird, but I think it's more likely town.
I am also suspecting Brain after EOD, but it's a bit of OMGUS plus the Dargo thing, I think Dargo was pretty clear on his message and Brain's reaction looks fake.
His reaction to me and Sabi only enforces my belief especially his treatment of me, not because of omgus but because he's focusing on shading me for everything except my play. Neon is ego posting. Neon is refusing to give reads. Neon is an idiot. These are the implications without any actual insight into my content or what I'm trying to do.
Same with Sabi. Sabi is white knighting again...blah blah blah. None of this shade feels genuine or actually indicative of what is going on really.

Re: M76 - Dungeons and Dragons - Game Thread [HIDDEN]
I'm remembering why I stopped playing now
Not liking Bozo and his poll, seems incredibly pointless to me. Gives us no real information and seems like a way to pin town down as wolf later because they guessed one or two right whereas wolves already know what's been picked and can avoid those or steer a bus to flip fellow wolves with roles not on the list. Between that and the "I'm going to vote like 6 people so I can say I voted scum D1" just feels like a bunch of noise that isn't helping town
Not liking Wolfu, they left the bozo train because "bozo said something that i think is a little less likely to come from scum" and has not elaborated at all past that. They then went to the Worcej wagon who they recently read as lean town and ended on Rdr who they had mentioned once up until then?
I honestly don't believe Dargys claim, he didn't change his vote off Brain at end of day even tho Brain wasn't happening, he never crumbles but decided to this game to and the person he thought would get his crumble was.... Brain? This situation will probably end up sorting itself out in the next few days...

I paid careful attention to the reaction of every wagon I tied. The movement when I put Bona into a position to go over was more active than any other wagon I tied during EOD

i'm not calling you an idiot. i'm asking why you're making a patently false claim about your play because I don't see why you're doing it, as either town or scum.Princess Neon wrote: ↑Thu Sep 15, 2022 12:28 amI'm so fucking glad I decided to play on webdip again I love being insulted and treated like a fucking idiot

As the day went on, and the EoD approached, and I was busy cooking for a crowd, I decided I would crumb… big and obvious, to me. I particularly thought brain, fellow Comic Guy, would notice the reference to Stephen Strange, Sorceror Supreme (and not a doctor. I would have gone Doc Holiday there… although wasn’t he a dentist?)

If Bona is scum, Bo is my best bet for his partner and Demon the other one.

Hey, take a second, take a breath, and focus on something or someone else for a while. There's 14 other people in the game that aren't you or Neon, even if Neon is wolf there's three other wolves out there, there's work to be done elsewhere that's not going to be nearly as frustrating for you

Yeah, I mentioned this, it doesn't really track. Brain was supposed to see that and push to soft clear Darg? Darg then said this at start of N1: "Naively, I hoped you’d join me on brain. But not enough time/focus to argue." Who were you trying to get to join you @Darg?
