Re: MAFIA 75: TROUBLE AT THE PRECINCT [HIDDEN]
I still don't know if the vote on me is based on some well-built fabricated case or on the nuances my predecessor.
I feel like I am going to lose more time trying to convince y'all that I am not the thing I am claimed to be, but I appreciate the walkback from the hammer.

Re: MAFIA 75: TROUBLE AT THE PRECINCT [HIDDEN]
You definitely could also be mafia and playing like this because you’re just too busy to keep up with the game. That’s the whole issue I at least am having with trying to read you… I perceive a near total lack of investment in the reads you did put forth previously, and your most recent list of them seems to abandon any of them that are not in line with the prevailing attitudes, which I could just as well attribute to you being town and feeling hopelessly out of the loop, being mafia and being hopelessly out of the loop, or being mafia and just trying to adapt to what we want to hear to stay alive longer.Vecna wrote: ↑Wed Aug 24, 2022 8:13 pmYouve been pretty hostile and irritated towards me all game Ghug.ghug wrote: ↑Wed Aug 24, 2022 8:00 pmHow would you describe what you're doing today other than "not.. trying whatsoever to change your mind"?Vecna wrote: ↑Wed Aug 24, 2022 7:19 pmLike, if HB was indeed scum here, and I was scum with him, I would not be trying whatsoever to change your mind, and would just gladly eat that rope because there is no hope anyway.
The only reason im giving a slight fuck is because I dont want my prioritizing other things to cause town to loose this game by being too easy a target.
Either im scum, and im playing like this because im just not a better scum player, or im town and im just too busy to keep up with the game, and im giving it my best shot with the information I have availlable to me.
In either case, I dont think the constant hassling is really deserved.
It doesn’t definitively make you mafia but it makes you very hard for me to distinguish either way, and at the same time I see my potential POE pool shrinking because others are starting to step up. I don’t want to just cop out to accepting that you might be a miskill and just flipping you regardless, but I don’t feel like I’m getting any other choice here.

I really hope you have solid reasons for townreading Chaqa.....

Re: MAFIA 75: TROUBLE AT THE PRECINCT [HIDDEN]
I would bet my life on the fact that there are low-optic players that are trying to go long as mafia. Conversely, there are probably some that are playing such an active role that they're going to go deep because of a strong townread.
So for everyone, let's take the mechanics out of the equation. Pretend they don't exist. Where's your vote lie RIGHT THIS VERY MINUTE? And would you hammer it if it?

But pretty genuine?worcej wrote: ↑Wed Aug 24, 2022 4:30 pmThis is too defeatist to me…Vecna wrote: ↑Tue Aug 23, 2022 11:57 pmits actually pretty annoying that its probably optimal play to misskill me after that Jamiet statement, because there is no way im ever eating a NK, and this shit is just going to be looming for the rest of the game, dividing town votes.
im a fucking liability now

##vote Vecna
(this is merely to adhere to the request for checking if my role got switched around to a vote-thing since my peek - this is not me self-voting out of a sense of giving up or w/e).

1. You don’t actually believe Sabi has the bomb
2. You know for whatever reason that you need your Godfather to kill that night (which would distribute the bomb to the corpse)
3. You mess up your orders and intended to distribute the bomb to your Godfather, but failed
4. You don’t want the bomb on your Godfather
5) Snowy came in and believed he can turn his faith (which he did).
6) They thought cop could scan GF, which will make useless a bomb on him.

Not sure I can expand on it. To kind of quote myself, these are labile opinions. Tell me you haven't read something, come away with an opinion, then read something else that totally confounds that original thought. It's why a lot of us suck at this game.
Re: MAFIA 75: TROUBLE AT THE PRECINCT [HIDDEN]
itd be pretty funny if they swapped me the double voter and I end up getting blown up due to that selfvote

Just making obvious observations as to reasons why people couldve done things are towny things?bo_sox48 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 24, 2022 8:39 pmHey now we’re doing townie thingsrdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 24, 2022 6:48 pmI would add:President Eden wrote: ↑Wed Aug 24, 2022 6:42 pmPossible reasons:

It’s a combination of well-built and your predecessor. The “fabricated” and “nuances” part are not true - your predecessor most likely scumslipped.Hamilton Brian wrote: ↑Wed Aug 24, 2022 8:24 pmI still don't know if the vote on me is based on some well-built fabricated case or on the nuances my predecessor.

Thinking critically in ways that add value to someone else’s original thought is pretty towny to me, yeahVecna wrote: ↑Wed Aug 24, 2022 8:42 pmJust making obvious observations as to reasons why people couldve done things are towny things?bo_sox48 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 24, 2022 8:39 pmHey now we’re doing townie thingsrdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 24, 2022 6:48 pm

Re: MAFIA 75: TROUBLE AT THE PRECINCT [HIDDEN]
Like you can always either ignore someone or just shoot them down, there’s holes to be found in basically everything in this game. But rather than doing either of those things he expanded on the possibilities without trying to make himself look good or take credit or really anything that I’d expect scum to subtly do pretty much whenever they have the opportunity.
Re: MAFIA 75: TROUBLE AT THE PRECINCT [HIDDEN]
I also don’t consider either of those possibilities obvious

Re: MAFIA 75: TROUBLE AT THE PRECINCT [HIDDEN]
Eden and Chaqa both have put in SO much thought around mechanics to then come around to, "Let's not kill HB."
If the case you're making is not that ironclad, let's step away from the ledge, and give it another thought.
Unless that's the goal?

And I am here saying I don't know why they said what they said, but I subbed into a town slot.

IDK mostly I just feel it would be funny if we gave you another day and you turned out to be scum and we're just bad at closingHamilton Brian wrote: ↑Wed Aug 24, 2022 8:51 pmEden and Chaqa both have put in SO much thought around mechanics to then come around to, "Let's not kill HB."
