obviously you can't speak to what was going on in neon's head, but you can make some statements with knowledge of her alignmentHamilton Brian wrote: ↑Wed Aug 24, 2022 12:11 pmImagine waking up to fond out that I am lead wagon. I've been in this position as town before so ...let's see how it goes. who would the deep scum be?rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 24, 2022 9:59 amThis is true. I am starting to fear I am wrong about Vecna and that we have some deep scum.Vecna wrote: ↑Wed Aug 24, 2022 7:22 amonly scum care about consistencyPresident Eden wrote: ↑Wed Aug 24, 2022 3:25 ami c
vec’s insistence that you were busing byz + abject refusal to vote byz really stuck with me
I really dislike Celaph post about me, because he totally ignored Snowy tried to have me as his counterwagon.
And just because I don't post a lot or long walls this doesn't mean I am not paying attention to the game.

+1 to this. I don't believe Jamie could have scanned Vecna, so I'm tending to just ignore him as he's done this before and been dead wrong.Rumi Tobari wrote: ↑Wed Aug 24, 2022 5:31 amOne question, since I don't know any of you very well.
Since we're so sure Neon/HB is scum, why was Jamie so insistent that we kill Vecna if he died?
Plus, ignoring him would be 10/10 troll
Re: MAFIA 75: TROUBLE AT THE PRECINCT [HIDDEN]
Could have protected snowy without drawing much ire by voting damo but instead ended up on a vanity wagon and floundered like a confused fish through EOD.
I cannot think of anything helpful he has actually done, and Jamie rightly said that it is possible that he was snowy’s partner and just failed to find an entry onto damo that he liked, so I’m open to the idea of him being scum. My vote for him early this phase was to keep multiple wagons in play, which… well, that didn’t work.
Re: MAFIA 75: TROUBLE AT THE PRECINCT [HIDDEN]
These thoughts generally fall in line with mine.celaph wrote: ↑Wed Aug 24, 2022 5:38 amReviewing rdr's contributions from N2-now I don't feel a desire to solve the game, but rather an obligation to keep playing.
When he went back to review the D1 votes, he purely gave points based on where they ended up with no additional analysis. Particularly egregious when he makes no attempt to read anything from Vecna from his votes.rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 22, 2022 5:48 pmI think Snowy played really well getting a miskill D2.
Looking D1 votes close to EOD, Chaqa get some town points for putting Byz tied with Damo.
Worcej get some scum points for putting Damo tied with Byz again when Damo wagon was losing momentum.
Rumi gets more town points for his vote.
If Ghug wasn't clear I would be pushing him to death.
And Vecna get a big question mark.
When Eden called out rdr's earlier avoidance of reading him, he entirely ignored Eden's primary concern and just responded to the other partWhen making comments about his wagon, he resorted to a blanket celaph/worcej are getting scummier. There is no analysis here, no attempt to post anything besides the minimum of what's tolerable.rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 22, 2022 5:52 pmIf I was scum with Byz I would have bussed him hard. Go find a game where I openly defend a scumpartner.President Eden wrote: ↑Mon Aug 22, 2022 3:41 pm
this post is really sticking in my craw. getting it wrong on Byz is one thing, but I have never seen rdrivera demur on reading me. it just screams “I’m going to back my guy, but not commit to a position I might need to walk back later” to me.
Anyway, don't worry with me, go find the other 3 scum...And he showed little interest in his votes today such that it feels like he is entirely just going through the motions.rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 23, 2022 12:21 amWorcej is going down fast on my townreads. His willingness to park a vote on me when I was the counter to Snowy also makes me suspect him. Same is valid for Celaph but I don't think both are scum, probably just one.
Nothing recent I see from rdr feels towny. There is no desire to solve the game. The only thing that gives me pause is that while I expect town rdr to be doing much better than this I also expect scum rdr to be doing better. Perhaps we just have the scum team dead to rights (rdr, HB, Vecna perhaps?), but it also makes me worry that something out of game is interfering with play.

You “don’t believe” he could have scanned Vecna?Chaqa wrote: ↑Wed Aug 24, 2022 1:23 pm+1 to this. Re: MAFIA 75: TROUBLE AT THE PRECINCT [HIDDEN]
The options are either he didn’t scan Vecna or he lied about who he did scan. If you believe the latter then you believe our only clear is unclear pending Vecna’s flip, because you don’t know which scan he lied about.

I do not think he lied about these, therefore I don't believe he could have scanned Vecna.

Opinions are pretty labile. We're operating in the dark and we either get locked into something (Eden mentioned the ego) or we're so challenged with seemingly contradictory words/actions that it's like a pinball. That's all.Bonatogether wrote: ↑Wed Aug 24, 2022 12:34 pm[
can you elaborate on what actually drove this change, though?

You’ve said this snowy counterwagon thing several times. Why does this magically clear you in your mind?rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 24, 2022 9:59 amThis is true. Town say some pretty awful things sometime? A couple of my earliest games standout in that regard.Bonatogether wrote: ↑Wed Aug 24, 2022 12:37 pm

I don't know Bona. I feel like you're pretty set on my as being one of the 3 remaining mafia team, based almost entirely on Neon's performance, but I also know that you're going to continue digging in other directions too. Gives me the sense that you'll come to a different decision before D4 is complete.

I believe we should hammer Hamilton just before the phase shift time. I'll throw mine in to get momentum going.

Re: MAFIA 75: TROUBLE AT THE PRECINCT [HIDDEN]
I'm pretty sure the super-town group (Eden, Bona, me, ghug, Rumi) will hammer, so is anyone else alpha enough to help us out?
Re: MAFIA 75: TROUBLE AT THE PRECINCT [HIDDEN]
If we’re gonna runaway wagon this on HB instead of having multiple options and actually gaining something useful today beyond the flip, we should hammer and do it quickly so maybe people are less likely to be completely disinterested after 5 real life days of doing nothing instead of 6.5 like we’ll have if we runaway on HB but don’t hammer.
The best thing to do is still to have an option to flip HB but not to make it so certain if we actually want useful info.

Re: MAFIA 75: TROUBLE AT THE PRECINCT [HIDDEN]
I’m not sure how Bona ended up in your “super-town” group.
As above, I’ll hammer if we’re actually gonna do that twice in a row.

Also... unless I'm being dense, isn't the identity of the 2-voter known?
Re: MAFIA 75: TROUBLE AT THE PRECINCT [HIDDEN]
Mafia could have easily moved it or taken it for themselves last night, so no?
