You have lived a beautiful life and I wish you many more years of defecating without anyone batting an eyelash.

self… what now?
Reference to a district review our school had about a dozen years ago. I was on the directions team preparing all the data in reference to school improvement. Morning meeting to lay out the day’s schedule and classroom walkthrough we were given an opportunity to share our thoughts on our student population, strengths, needs, etc. The learning resource teacher talked about how many students perceived themselves and meant to say self-deprecating. No one batted an eyelash.

Anyway, all these years later I can’t let it go.
I missed you so much

Yeah sorry to do this to you after you put your neck out for me
But I have better things to do in life than be spat on by an overgrown manchild all day and for RHK to do nothing here is inexcusable and a failure on his part as a GM

Ongoing game so I'll leave most of it for post game discussions though no need to bring the mood down even further
For what it is worth, I know you think I'm an asshole, fair enough. But actually my fury earlier wasn't directed at you. It was directed at town for letting themselves be manipulated by your antics.

If you took it personally then I repeat my apology. I actually think you've been playing a reasonable scum game. I'm genuinely annoyed that Sabi was miskilled, but I could have articulated that with less swearing.
You could have articulated that with less alcohol and you need to learn to control yourself.
Perfectly reasonable comments, Bo. I accept this.

Just running though the past two days. I'll track back if I have time but I'd like to hear from someone that was there; why the end votes on Byz? Damo was killed but there was such certainty around ending. I think you all know my opinions on end-votes, but I'd still like to hear from someone.

A whole lot of people have been endvoting in this game, for some reason.

Is the constant endvoting something particualrly meaningful?

Yeah, I've noticed that. And, since snowy replaced Byz, snowy wasn't a recipient of the same end-vote treatment. So something shifted between group perceptions.

i’ll let you work as to the rest, but i have to know why the fuck you would think you would draw a kill as a no voter who is using the no vote as an excuse not to care lol. you might as well have a neon sign on your beanie saying “I’M NOT A THREAT LEAVE ME ALONE”
Well, there was supposed to be a level of “what if Chaqa is a cop” which only Bo thought of, so it clearly wasn’t the best plan, but my PR plans never seem to work lol
Why do you think I’m the only one that thought this? You seemed surprised that I thought this at EOD, and yet now you say that was part of the plan?

You’re confusing me and I’m finding less reason now knowing my first intuition was wrong to just let you do your thing.
I was confused that you thought I was softing a guilty on snowy because my vote on him was based on the day 1 conclusion he needed to die.

as a cop I never scan people I think might die, I usually scan people I can’t read well

My perspective, rightly or wrongly, is that it's pretty scummy. Especially so early in the game in that it cuts down conversation (a la gives scum less of a chance to slip). I think later in the game it can be rationalized. Not on day 1.

If I remember right, Sabi’s friends play on sites where majority votes automatically end the day (that is, there’s no separate “endhammer” mechanic, they ALWAYS have endhammers). Sabi had been playing a lot there too. So we had a sizable contingent of people for whom that is normal.

Plus, I gotta admit, I think they’re right about leveraging endhammers more aggressively. I don’t know if you always need to play endhammer chicken, but it raises the stakes quite a bit, which can tell you things about people you wouldn’t otherwise find.

I don’t conclude that there’s anything inherently suspicious or exonerating about use or non-use of hammers personally, but that’s just like, my opinion, man.

I am road tripping across Wyoming and feel like I’ve done a lot more than I should be for someone supposedly on vacation already. Even if I weren’t, posting 150+ times a day as I used to does not do good things for my sanity so don’t expect online-all-the-time dedication from me in mafia games going forward regardless of my schedule. I’m not playing in a way that burns me out so badly anymore.
This sort of answers my question but really addresses a bunch of baggage that you have re: other people's expectations but it does clearly set a good boundary and I'll help you maintain that boundary :-)

I should have been more clear I was mostly asking "hey during the 48 hours that will be D3, if you think you'll have a free hour around X time, I would love to be online while you're online so that you can have someone help find info/quotes/etc for you at older points in the thread, since catching up would be impossible".

Anyway.

I don’t have any way of knowing that lol. All I saw was someone who crumbed cop open the day with an endhammer.

In my opinion snowy put in a lot of effort to distance himself from suspicion and the main criticism of Byz was that he didn’t really know how to do that. When Byz was under suspicion he generally made it worse with his tepid responses.

What makes you describe them as tepid?
