- Sabi or snowy is Cop or Doctor and visited the other
- Bus Driver bused Sabi and snowy

Why might mafia Sabi truthfully out being the deathbomb on n1?

Yeah I’m struggling to see the Sabi motivations in this story.

I mean this as delicately as possible to Sabi whenever they read this, but the idea that they might inadvertently mess up a possible play by just announcing they have a special status as the deathbomb is definitely reasonable to me.

But I do also think they would at least ask the team first based on what I remember from spectating their mafia games. And I’m sure somebody on the team would say “whoa now, we could use this, don’t.” And that would be that.

The world I saw when I was reading through snowy’s post and thinking about how things went down was that Sabi outed the nametag and the mafia went “hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm” and put it on the most likely d2 kill.

I guess I c could see that happening, and I could see them peeking day one before the team tells them there's an oracle tag, but do we really think they'd peek day one and wait to blab or not peek initially only to do it at night?

I guess maybe.

- I don’t think Sabi would have saved snowy
- Sabi might have scanned snowy

But realistically I think Sabi is just town, given the risk of self-outing which I’m sure somebody in mafia chat would have pointed out before Sabi peeked. I feel pretty confident that despite Sabi’s apparent impulsivity at times, they would have felt like they needed to check with the team before outing. Sabi is a team player as mafia and checks with the team before doing important things. If you care enough to investigate then you can go look for the Discord server of I believe M1021 where there’s a metric shitload of discussion among TFB, Llama, and Sabi for just about everything in the game. Sabi checks in a lot and is conscientious enough as mafia not to just do shit.

And I mean I’m sorry but the fact that the tag ended up on the zzzz obvious d2 kill of choice just screams mafia opportunism

What do I believe? I think I pretty much still believe that ghug's initial comment as seen in the quote is suspiciously strong for immediately posting after EOD. No "sorry for almost getting things mixed up with Vecna", no "pyxxy wtf was that?", just immediate accusation. It felt like a continuation of the D1 drunk comment.

My default presumption on how mafia uses a compulsive bus driver is to bus their intended kill target with someone unlikely to be docsaved and then shoot so that their kill hits their intended target, minimizing the ability of the Doctor to counteract it

You’d need a decent play with the Bus Driver to merit not doing that

Planting the bomb on the person most likely to be killed d2 is a play that merits doing that, if you think you’re confident enough in stirring up an alternative wagon

Which means that all the wagon chaos right now with no clear second choice is… probably really good?
