I think the biggest, and most obvious, concern regarding Vecna is that he hasn't made significant contributions since D1. To some degree this can be explained by his belief that Snowy is scum who has already given up, though I think that there is too much uncertainty to simply call the day over.

I also had a more positive view of Vecna's D1 than you did; I had no problem with his D1 reads:

sabi feels pretty genuine

worcej so far doesnt feel like he's trying to fake shit. his stuff all just feels pretty mellow

i rarely read fuck all, but i dont see why people are suspicious of eden. feels pretty towny in his poking overall. his comments on chaqa feel pretty standard.

not overly thrilled by darg btw. he seems to rely a bit too much on easy points.

Can you say more about your read on ghug? Is it just that he hasn't done anything to impress you or do you see a bigger connection between him and Vecna?

I am catching up and starting from here. I notice from the Bot that Snowy claims to have "found scum"... in the person of Princess Neon.

At this point, unless there have been any new revelations in the 9 pages that I have yet to read up on, I strongly, strongly townread Princess Neon.

So I will be interested to see how Snowy has "found scum" when the person he has found is probably my strongest townread. Let us see.

Honestly I would ordinarily anticipate that such a stupid wagon would eventually dissipate over time but as this day progresses it seems more and more likely that won't be happening, which is really motivating

You have subbed in and replaced one of those newbies. The newbie you have replaced drew a lot of attention to themselves D1, especially later in the phase, and was heavily scumread and almost the flipped wagon as a result.

Have you reviewed your predecessor's performance, particularly from the middle of D1 up to EoD1? What is your analysis? I know you can just say "well I know my role and I'm town so they were just playing awkwardly" but can you tell us any more than that, Snowy?

Your "I don't usually have to defend myself because usually I find scum" line of argument is noted, but it's fairly weak, tbh. This time, you do have to defend yourself, or you'll likely be voted out. So you'll need to start by defending the former occupant of your slot. You want us to believe that their heat-getting actions were town motivated. So, tell us about that.

I know you gave me an answer to that already but I’m trying to piece together how plausible it actually is but figure you’ve put thought into it already and can just tell me since at the rate this thread moves I’ll have a chance to do that legwork myself by day 5 at the earliest

That’s a weird thing to latch onto from that post. I don’t think most people lost scum lists with the idea they’re all paired up. What makes you jump to that?
