I wonder if scum tried to use their bus driver last night to gamble on passing around the voting powers

Why would it be a scumslip?pyxxy wrote: ↑Fri Aug 19, 2022 4:40 pmWhy say this unprompted? Did you figure out what I was after?Rumi Tobari wrote: ↑Fri Aug 19, 2022 4:36 pmOkay. I guess I didn't read the setup close enough. I thought strongman performed the kill.
@Jamie, was this a scumslip?
It might be an attempt at a townslip but why would it be a scumslip? Scum would know all this already.

I found the “VT”/“vanilla” thing very relatable and plausible so I agreeJamiet99uk wrote: ↑Fri Aug 19, 2022 4:40 pmMy take-away from all of this is that Neon is probably innocent because all of that confusion would have been quite hard to fake.

What we do know is this. My original name tag was not vote manipulative.snowy801 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 19, 2022 4:39 pmOnly if the info is worth disclosing I thinkJamiet99uk wrote: ↑Fri Aug 19, 2022 3:14 pmOh, just that Neon said they were visited by the Flower Vendor.President Eden wrote: ↑Fri Aug 19, 2022 3:11 pmOh yea, Jamie is in my don’t kill pool, because I don’t get what the tags thing with Neon is about but I’m sure it’s a townie ploy for something or other.
The Flower Vendor was then killed by the Mafia.
So the Mafia might very probably perhaps now be in possession of the Name Tag that Neon might have started out with.
So if it just so happens that Neon "peeked" during D1, I would say that it might be worth disclosing this information, especially if it implies that a Mafioso is now strutting around the school grounds wearing an interesting new name tag.
No?
Otherwise scum gets a free peek for no reason
And mafia likely has it I think.
It could be anything else except death bomb assuming Sabi didn't lie about their d1 peek.

Well they definitely used it, that's for sure.

like, if they peeked day1 and any of them had either the 0 vote or the double vote, they'd know which of the wagons contained the other, and they wouldve been able to make a decently good guess to use the bus driver to either pass their zero vote to a towny, or to steal the double vote for themselves or pass it to the dead town.

Just to make sure.
##CALL GM
Do all of the Name Tags which have no special modifiers or effects, have the actual word "Vanilla" on them?

Re: MAFIA 75: TROUBLE AT THE PRECINCT [HIDDEN]
This was a serious question because I was factorying strongman as The Killer into my interpretation of the PR order of operations as far as name tag exchanges go. But Jamie's explanation there told me my assumption about how it worked was completely wrong.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Fri Aug 19, 2022 4:42 pmWhy would it be a scumslip?pyxxy wrote: ↑Fri Aug 19, 2022 4:40 pmWhy say this unprompted? Re: MAFIA 75: TROUBLE AT THE PRECINCT [HIDDEN]
and since the winning wagon obviously had a higher chance of containing those powers, simply due to a higher number of players being on it, and they also ended up killing on there......

At the risk of continuing to sound stupid is there a reason to assume they used it?

The double vote and vote0 both canceled eachother out in the D1 vote.Vecna wrote: ↑Fri Aug 19, 2022 4:43 pmlike, if they peeked day1 and any of them had either the 0 vote or the double vote, they'd know which of the wagons contained the other, and they wouldve been able to make a decently good guess to use the bus driver to either pass their zero vote to a towny, or to steal the double vote for themselves or pass it to the dead town.

It's compulsive.Princess Neon wrote: ↑Fri Aug 19, 2022 4:45 pmAt the risk of continuing to sound stupid is there a reason to assume they used it?
If you read the Bus Driver role description in the setup sheet, it says "At night, you must" rather than "At night, you may" when describing the bus driving action.
That is, the Bus Driver is required to perform their action each night, and cannot choose to do nothing.

Re: MAFIA 75: TROUBLE AT THE PRECINCT [HIDDEN]
And @Neon that wasn't a stupid question, don't worry, because it's slightly more commonplace for Night Actions to be optional, so the fact that this setup forces the Bus Driver to act every single night is noteworthy.

Re: MAFIA 75: TROUBLE AT THE PRECINCT [HIDDEN]
That's precisely Vecna's point. Because we know they were both on the same wagon, therefore if a Mafia member knew they were the +1 Voter or the 0 Voter, they would also know that the hold of the other one of those name tags had been on the same wagon as them. You see?Rumi Tobari wrote: ↑Fri Aug 19, 2022 4:46 pmThe double vote and vote0 both canceled eachother out in the D1 vote.Vecna wrote: ↑Fri Aug 19, 2022 4:43 pmlike, if they peeked day1 and any of them had either the 0 vote or the double vote, they'd know which of the wagons contained the other, and they wouldve been able to make a decently good guess to use the bus driver to either pass their zero vote to a towny, or to steal the double vote for themselves or pass it to the dead town.
