Not necessarily. If Darg was bussed first, he swapped his nametag with the bus driver, and THEN swaps the bus driver's nametag with his murderer.

But then he GETS TO BE RIGHT. And that's not acceptible to me. I have too much pride to let him be right. I will put myself through a ton of very real suffering to prove a point in social situations.
Its one of the many reasons I'm persona non grata in most communities.

Eh, I don't think there's a ton of benefit to doing that for them.pyxxy wrote: ↑Thu Aug 18, 2022 10:26 pmSo this isn't true, they would just bus your nametag onto a townie if you were telling the truth about your nametag.Chaqa wrote: ↑Thu Aug 18, 2022 9:26 pmWell yes, but who would swap nametags with me now? I've outsmarted them all snd am now basically a named townie that you lose your voting power if you kill.President Eden wrote: ↑Thu Aug 18, 2022 9:24 pm
I can’t fault that approach too much, but I know you know from setup review that several night actions switch nametags with the target.
Uhhhhh—
No, really, I know you know.
Yea abou—

I just realized something. Order of operations says that Florist goes before the Strongman (presumably responsible for NK), so drag already traded his original nametag away.
Re: MAFIA 75: TROUBLE AT THE PRECINCT [HIDDEN]
Probably shouldn't worry about nametags until later when mass PR/nametag reveals start happening

Alright I’m home.
Darg kill kind of skulldrug my whole worldview because I thought he was a near-consensus POE pick… not actively suspected per se, but I don’t remember any strong townreads going his way. So obviously I didn’t read the room there....

Also interested in Sabi, Vecna, bona, Chaqa, neon. Wouldn't be too brokenhearted about bo or pyx either.

I don't think it's a completely unpredictable NK. darg was generally helpful to the thread, not spamming, adding good comments, etc. Solid town behavior.President Eden wrote: ↑Thu Aug 18, 2022 10:13 pmWhoa
gg darg, my b
Lemme get out of here and think about what that even means lol. That was not on my radar
If I was scum, darg would have been on the list.
Other options to kill might have been celaph (although I've seen town DK him enough to let him be) or worcej (similar reasoning as darg).
As scum, I 100% would not have killed Eden, Neon, Sabi, Bona, Snowy, Rumi, myself, or bo, and probably not Vecna, ghug, Jamie, or Chaqa, although the EON stuff might have been tempting.
Meta-comment, I don't know if it's bad for me to speculate on these sort of questions? I'm following Bona's advice from last game of "let the thread know what you're thinking".

Why for those people? Eden, Rumi and Vecna in particular strike me as oddpyxxy wrote: ↑Thu Aug 18, 2022 10:42 pmI don't think it's a completely unpredictable NK. darg was generally helpful to the thread, not spamming, adding good comments, etc. Solid town behavior.President Eden wrote: ↑Thu Aug 18, 2022 10:13 pmWhoa
