I was aware of them (and praying like crazy that they’d break in a way that killed Byz, although with a 2-pt gap it could only tie), but you can’t really play around it too much… people are gonna vote where they vote.

I feel like you’ve specifically had the opposite viewpoint in a past game.

With private voting mechanics that even the holder of the power might not know they have? You do what you can, but let’s say that pyxxy actually did land on Byz, and it nominally goes 7-6 damo, but oopsie, I’m actually the double voter and ghug is the no voter, none of us have peeked the tag, it flips to Byz instead. What were damo voters supposed to do about that?

Obviously “rally an oopsie-proof majority,” sure, but how does that translate into doing anything differently than what was done? I just don’t think it changes anything about the effort you should put into persuading people at EOD, just the consequences of that effort (or lack of it).

Anything within 2 had a potential for a tie. Voting for the losing wagon in the final moments increased the likelihood of it being within 2.
