I'll aim to make one move per day. And I'll play it out to the end, win, lose or draw. Comments are welcome. Here is the first installment:

Spring 1901. I'm going to open hard north. Last time I played England against the bots, I opened to the Channel and it didn't go so well. I'm also beginning to wonder whether there's value for England in antagonizing France in 1901 in a bot game. We shall see.

I can't contain my enthusiasm. Doug needs a thread, too (preferably one with a different tactic). BTW, I tried accessing the game via that link and it didn't work.

Biggest dis-service the diplomacy community ever did was not teaching the bot creators the purpose / winning conditions of the game ....
