Twenty Questions - Game XXXVII
Rules:
1. Only yes/no questions may be asked.
2. If the answer is unclear, question master must clarify why.
3. One guess per person does not count against the total, but additional guesses by the same person do. After all 20 questions are up, three total guesses are allowed.
4. Please choose people from history, or movie/TV/literary/video game chars/etc. characters that, if you were to throw a dart out the window, at least 50% of people hit would know this character.
5. Whomever guesses correctly takes over from the previous question master. If they do not want to do it, they may choose who to pass the duty onto or just give it to the first volunteer.
6. If the question master remains undefeated three times in a row, on the third time they must either pass it to a person of their choice, or the first volunteer takes over.
Off you go....

Is it someone that was on the list of "100 Greatest Britons" according to the BBC in 2002?

Re: Twenty Questions - Game XXXVII
While I've allowed such questions when I have been quizmaster, I'm realizing a problem with them. If you are wrong, it costs only one question. But if you are correct, the game becomes a charmless game of "is it in the Top 50?", Yes. "Is it in the Top 25?", No. "Is it between 25 and 37?" ... thus guaranteeing a win in no more than 7 questions. Is it someone that was on the list of "100 Greatest Britons" according to the BBC in 2002?

Re: Twenty Questions - Game XXXVII
Hmmm, I couldn't answer this in 2 ways:
No, although he did write.
Yes*, but I would say he is not principally known for his writing.
* Calling it 'art' would be a stretch so my overall answer is
NO.
Bit of free info there.
