Civ VI looks like a silly cartoon. If I want that I'll play Wizard101 or something.

Yea theres a really strange aesthetic shortfall with civ 6. I dont get why anyone thinks its a prettier game. Felt like a step back in alot of ways.

Civ 5 is still a very pretty game which has amazing expansions.

Ive watched rise and fall playthrus and it seems kinda like civ 6 is still missing alot. Natural disaster is not even relevant in civ games. There used to be volcanos in civ 2. I dont get why there arent more real events.

But yea, I struggle more playing civ 6 too, its a harder game and seems more unclear how to win. It was 660 AD and I had crossbows finally and got a msg saying someone had entered modern era. Wtf

I think if we can do this like a very unorthodox tournament where we take civ scores for games and count wins in a seperate column.

That way even if you lose but have a very high score you can be credit for effort

We have stalled a bit on getting this going. I can confirm we got a game in last night featuring captainmeme, goldfinger, myself and ogion.

We could probably get a game going next week but ideally we would want 12 players so we can seed the brackets into 3

Uh civ scores should be completely meaningless. Getting eliminated later in the game shouldn't be rewarded more than getting eliminated earlier in the game. A loss is a loss.
Isn't it just an elimination bracket anyways where the winner makes it to the next round while the losers are all knocked out?
