I get the sabi wagon... and further silence from their corner does not help.

Looking elsewhere, though, too.

I just reread rdr... and I find him disengaged.

He 'defends' his opening post somewhat, but nothing more than a light defense. Sabi thought him overdefensive, I actually find him underdefensive.

He responds to llama's comment about crossbow with a 'shhhh... don't talk about it now' which seems artificial. Nothing llama asked or hinted at would be news to scum. It tastes like TRYING to be protective of town.

He mutters about ghug's almost-buddying him, which is ok, I guess.

But this is the thing that stands out to me, regarding tie votes.
First, rdrivera writes:

Using a tie vote as a motivator/impetus on kak. Note it is, of course, a long way from EoD.

But a little later (still hours away from EoD) he criticizes my using a tie vote in a similar way: ↑dargorygel: "Ok... this ties it three ways with plenty of time.

RDRIVERA: It doesn't ties because Brad vote isn't counted by bot. I can vote Yoak or Sabi to tie it but a tie isn't a great outcome to D1.

My point is this: It demonstrates two possible things. First, it shows a standoff analysis. Surfing, without rdr's usual thoughtfulness. But second, it might be protecting kak.

tldr: scumteam rdr and kak.

It's not a great analysis, I realize. But we have such little data.

(I could vote today for sabi until they start playing (I hope they're ok!!!) or kak, similarly, although I dislike what little kak has had to say more than I dislike what sabi has said.)

I think you already answered yourself. But to be clear (probably someone will say I am over/under/Uber defending me) my first vote was to keep Kak under pressure to see if he shows up and play.
And I don't have problems with ties close to EOD. Ties usually force people to assume a position and less easy to scum lay low.
What I pointed to you is exactly you were not tying it because you ignored Brad vote that wasn't counted by the bot but was accepted by GM and Ray it could generate confusion at EOD.
And if I want to defend Kak why I would make his wagon viable voting him first place? I decided to move out of him after Worcej (who I townread) said it was a bad wagon and then I read that Kak's message that I skipped at game start and thought he was baiting a NK.

I want to start echoing my inner ghug dialogue about I should do the opposite of what I actually think, but then am I actually thinking it or doing the opposite?

Frankly, over-the-top commentating about forgetting or will be catching up - you've posted 7 times and 3 of them were about needing to catch up. You're playing mafia on other platforms enough that it shouldn't be hard to remember you're in this game too. This is coming off as an act now.

That is what I thought you meant. I am unsure on rdr. Every time he writes, he seems more surfing to me. Kak's and sabi's and Brad's 'silence' is more damning each day.
But I ALSO realize it just might be real life, and scum is happy to let us kill lowposters. MOST of us are staring at kak for this, so it is easy for scum to go along.

llama seems good to me. But I have not played a lot with him. When he was scum (near thanksgiving?) he was more argumentative and flipflop. Or so I remember.

I can usually read damo. Or we just kill each other. But I lean town on him. He is interacting well, with the material we have. He is just stubborn enough to be town!damo.

And maniac has given just enough serious stuff to give me confidence in his towniness. He has NOT pushed his handsomeness, which is a concern, though.

- I'm not really sure I get the connection between rdr and kak? Darg's longer post shows that he voted kak first, then disputed a vote on himself, so I don't see how that's construed as protecting kak. I agree that rdr hasn't shown as much conviction as I'd expect though (assuming that's what surfing means).

- Voting sabi right now because I think the way they've been lurking is more alignment-indicative, but I disagree that kak's style of lurking is inherently better - they're clearly preparing posts for the starts/ends of phases, which indicates an unwillingness to actively engage with the thread at all despite rereading. I'm only nulling it because it's kak and he's done this in the past

- darg trying to start more discussion on people who aren't lurking is good. extra townpoints ig. I haven't been impressed with damo or rdr so far but don't really have anything concrete on them yet

I agree a bus is unlikely if a player is anywhere near danger but a bus on a one or two vote wagon is possible.
