I'm kind of 80% he would flip town. Can you reduce that %? How would his flip affect your thoughts on me (assuming I was on wagon)?

Part of my suspicion of you legitimately comes from the feeling you seemed to be protecting Maniac a bit too much, and that this had similarities to the way you defended Donny Dude when you were scum with him. Donny posts were shit and he was mostly absent, but you were able to say "Yeah but look at his votes, no way scum would vote like that", which is what you are doing in terms of Maniac.

So if Maniac flips town my scumread on you would actually be lowered.

I can't see how you could be claiming Maniac is 80% town If you set aside his vote moves .... I mean what else has he done that seems town or appears aimed at finding scum?

Here's my general meta view on Maniac:

As VT: Shitposts, comes up with wild theories, tries to get reactions, doesn't mind if people vote him.

As Town PR: Tries a bit harder, but similar to above.

As non-Town in a multi-ball: Busses hard, also tries to catch the other scumteam, and take credit for this.

As scum in a vanilla game: Coasts, busses with his votes, tries to miskill anyone pressuring him.

I think he's playing more or less similarly to how he always plays. That's why I put more weight on how he votes than how he interacts.

I suppose I overestimated the prevalence because DL posted about it like 3 times. DL and aaro were the only ones that explicitly townread Maniac because of it, though it's slightly unclear how seriously others considered it.

I agree that the first sentence to the second paragraph is obvious. I just think that it was worth repeating given the relevance to the following argument.

I think scum Kak says a lot less about your alignment than town Kak does though I think on the whole. I think on the whole it's probably a slight boost for you -- though if both Kak flips results in you looking townier than I should just adjust my default read pre-Kak flip. Scum Kak means that we have to play the game of whether you were distancing/bussing or caught him.

If kak flips scum I was right (helped catch him) if he flips town then he hasn't been a useful town player. He has voted me throughout so if he is town his read skills are poor.
