Re: M1021 - Blessings of Lilia - GAME THREAD [hidden]
@celaph d1 or d2? at first I was trying to gain some information, was on jamie and maniac (the posts of investigating them outside their house) but after a bit it felt there wasn't much to gain by voting them just then. Then I moved to the 'village center' where bona and durga had the full thing going on, I think it was 3 votes on durga or something like that, saw that damo was first to vote durga. At the time I was considering the possibility that there might be someone bussing early and I tried to get more information there so I 'sat down' next to damo and asked him what he thinks of the situation bona/durga and voted him. I expected him to either explain it or ignore it (like jamie and maniac, both probably just weren't awake then or haven't seen it) but damo was very strange, he didn't answer or ignored it but voted bona. Then jamie made a post and voted me and damo jumped on that and voted me too. D2 should be pretty clear, my highest mafia read, rd thinking (at least I'm pretty sure he did) the same about damo prodding about the vt tell, on top of the other stuff I've seen from him.
@sabi you missed my question I had for you regarding boat man. Please response to that in your next (or one of your next) posts, especially since you skipped the 'wallpost analysis'
@aaro concerning damo's mafia tell, do you think he is not able to suppress that in case he is mafia? or do you think he doesn't know what that is?
@damo you seem to ignore the question so are you afraid now I'm mafia trying to frame you or do you ignore it because I'm still null to you?
for what it's worth, one thought came flying to me ... if damo is mafia, would he have tried to 'reveal' EoD1 that he is the itemsmith in this kind of situation? or wasn't the situation desperate enough for him to consider it in that situation?
concerning boat-bona stand off: if that is mafia theatre, I should stop playing mafia (at least for a while). I think there is max one mafia candidate between the two. For me it looks like it's more likely to be just TvT, but I'm open to your all input @all

You have mentioned Aaro a lot today but I'm not clear on what exactly your case is. I looked at your D1 vote for him and it appears you think he scum-slipped, but you didn't actually lay out anything that looks like a clear case.
Could you help us by providing a summary of why exactly Aaro is your top suspect?

Come on Snowy. Facts, numbers, dates, witnesses, let's have it.

Well the scum slip was more of a one-off comment since for whatever reason those seems to be more impactful than an overall picture description. I was scum reading him a little before that, for what few posts he'd made by then
I mean if you consider the forest of aaro's actions in day 1,
He put down what I'd consider an early joke vote on tfb
Spent considerable time opening up other viable scum reads on everyone and anyone between his entirely fake reads list and stuff like this viewtopic.php?p=297843#p297843
The latter of which I may point out just listed a number of people other people said might be willing to vote as their most likely scum reads
Then had a very revealing conversation about "wanting to kill people he'd be least sad about miskilling"
Did not give two shits about how d1 ended
Bailed entirely on n1
And then spent d2 not scum reading anyone but looking for entirely mechanical reasons to vote for people
I think the picture is clear. + I dunno how it couldn't be the case that rivera was shot for voting aaro. Show me any indication that he was scum that isn't ex post facto justifications and I may reconsider the last point
But I guess the biggest reason is I feel like he is, so he probably is. Hasn't failed me yet

Original post
I will policy daykill anyone else who types in tiny font from here on in.
Resized
Celaph seems like a really good guy and I'm sure that they don't mean to exclude people of advanced years with really poor eyesight, but resizing fonts does exclude people even if that isn't the intention.

^ I'm pretty sure we ruled a few games back that all text must be legible, though I can understand if celaph had no knowledge of this

You can just cut-and-paste it into Notepad and then it's all normal sized.Maniac wrote: ↑Sun Mar 27, 2022 2:50 pmOriginal post

Let's talk about this reads list for a moment. You attacked him at the time for posting what you incorrectly described as an "unprompted reads list". (My emphasis). You were wrong that it was unprompted. Sabi, not long before, had specifically made a post asking Aaro to set out his reads. This has been pointed out to you before, but I don't think you've addressed your mistake*. Could you comment on that please?snowy801 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 27, 2022 2:28 pmWell the scum slip was more of a one-off comment since for whatever reason those seems to be more impactful than an overall picture description. *Note that I am giving you the benefit of the doubt and assuming you made a mistake; I am not accusing you of deliberately shading Aaro for false reasons.
The reads list did seem quite opportunistic, you have my agreement on that point.snowy801 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 27, 2022 2:28 pmThe latter of which I may point out just listed a number of people other people said might be willing to vote as their most likely scum reads

Could you elaborate on why you deduce that Aaro "did not give two shits", at EoD1? As I recall he said he voted Durga to avoid a tie.
From N1 onwards I agree with you that Aaro looks pretty bad.
You're halfway to persuading me, Snowy. It would be helpful if you could address the couple of queries I've posted here, as that may help me to decide.

@Maniac: While I'm sure the whole community appreciates having you around to enforce the correct use of properly-sized typefaces, is that the only thing you wish to contribute?
You voted Aaro yesterday for frankly awful reasons. What is your view on Aaro today? How about your reads on Bonatogether and Kakottoro?

@Kak
Could you please repeat the question I apparently haven't answered. [I didn't read you first half dozenish long posts so if it was in there that would explain why].

Re: M1021 - Blessings of Lilia - GAME THREAD [hidden]
1) I did read Sabi's post, but did not make the mental connection at the time as I would not consider it natural for someone asking "bruh what are your reads" to posting 20 pages on every single player in the game. Yes, I had a minor "oh" moment once that was pointed out, but it was not important to me as the question was not nearly as important as the response
Much as I say things like "nonvoters are scum" just to see how people respond, which I personally recognize you hate though I don't really understand why
2) His final vote indicates that, even generously assuming he was busy with IRL things, he was available to view the vague progress of the wagons. He made no attempt to influence the results. Voting to avoid a tie was meaningless, as there would not have been a tie, as there never would be any game
3) There is no point 3, so why are these posts so long? Stop propping up the wallpost meta Jamiet. Return to monke

Maniac's post re pyxxy switched my opinion. Also his realisation that I would be unlikely to be discussing the rdr NK in the way I was if I were scum is valuable and Kak and TFB should take particular note.
I think Maniac has made valuable contributions.

i thought durga was more scum based on interactions with other people, and boat man thought she was scum based on her response to mecelaph wrote: ↑Sun Mar 27, 2022 6:08 amHow would you compare boatman's approach to Durga to your own? From the outside you both seemed rather comparable in voting and general attitude on the matter.Bonatogether wrote: ↑Sat Mar 26, 2022 7:06 pmboat man seemed very opportunistic when i was trying to kill durga, so i believe that makes him look significantly worse. would definitely vote him, but have to go for a bit now, won't move atm

I have a lot to go through, so I'm not going to respond to characterization of me. You posted this on Saturday, so I'm not sure if you're referring to Friday (N1) or the last day phase. I'll try to answer both I guess.
For D1: There were two parts of it if I remember correctly. One was that damo started posted a lot more and something about it made it feel more townie. The other one part was that Maniac felt a lot less townie after he voted me out of seemingly nowhere. I was pretty wiped at EOD1 and typically I don't like second guessing my first instinct (which is that Damo was scum), so I stayed on him. I only switched to Durga at the end because Maniac switched to Damo which I thought was potentially going to lead to a tie. Considering that I had a mild scum lead on Durga (all my reads were/are mild), I didn't mind switching and I had already thought Maniac was scummy.
For N1: There was a fair bit of talk about how D1 was (TvS)vT or (SvS)vT and both of those narratives seemed like something that scum would try to set up in a day chat. I think there's a pretty good chance that it was (TvT)vT which clears Damo more by association.

She was the one who cited awkward interactions and I asked her to give an example, which she couldn't.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Sun Mar 27, 2022 11:18 amI'm spending some time today reviewing my opinion on everyone in the game. I'll post in groups of a few at a time.
Bonatogether - Scum lean. My take at the time was that Bona was applying double standards by hectoring Durga for "evidence" of her read on him, which Durga had clearly stated was just a hunch, while at the same time basing his own apparent scumreads on "awkward interactions".
