That's not meant to be a rhetorical question either. It legitimately seems like I just view +1s in a fundamentally different way than y'all. Let's just skip to the same conclusion of the same conversation that I had with brainbomb.

+1's are allowed. Giving me +1's, in particular, is very welcome.

The thing I was concerned about was that you were giving +1's but not making posts. That suggests that you're around, you're generally keeping up with the game, but choosing not to contribute. That isn't helpful. Everyone should try to contribute. Contribution drives the game forward.

I really like boats post just now. It feels very different from the posts last game where he was mafia. He also puts some things I feel suspicious about damo into better words than I.

I think we can intuit one thing from it, and it's that RDR didn't give an item to damo. Damo also said so in the thread, sparing us the work of thinking through this situation. Unfortunately I'm too stupid to realize that before writing this section. I also wrote this before the theory about NK+RB so rip me.

I'm leaning towards agreeing with Kak that it's best to just play under the assumption that no item was distributed for now. Just makes things simpler.

I just figured that either I would draw the NK as a VT and keep the prophet alive, or mafia would assume that the prophet would listen to my request and not give me an item, and thus not shoot me as it's better for them to try and shoot either the prophet or a possible item recipient.

There is (was) of course WIFOM about whether I would say such a thing as the prophet. But I'm not (wasn't), which again is why I thought it was a decent shot at drawing the NK. This might have also been a bad play? Who knows. I'm still pretty new here, let me know if this was moronic.

My eod strategy was to say I wasn’t going to be on and then appear at last minute to disrupt any close vote scum had engineered. There was still time for others to vote after I thought I was tying it.

@Maniac: Did you decide to use this strategy before the game started? Or did you decide to do this at a certain point in the game? (if you remember)

The other part of just +1s was that Damo opened D2 gunning for me and I didn't want to react the same way I did with brainbomb. Now I know what OMGUS means, and tbh I felt like that's kinda what I did to brain and so I wanted to avoid doing that to damo. That's why I haven't voted for him here on D2.

I also felt like damo was maybe OMGUS'ing me after my vote for him on D1. So I figured it was better to just let things cool off and come back in a while. Unfortunately the thread went dormant so I just looked like a tool for only +1s and no posts. Live and learn, I guess.
