I do owe Snowy a partial apology.

For some reason I was sure that Snowy's "I'll sheep Rdrivera" post occurred *before* Rdrivera admitted that the vote on Celaph was a joke. Hence me asking Snowy why he hadn't voted Celaph with Rdrivera.

Now on reading again I can see that in fact they both occurred at almost the same time, within a few posts of each other. So I can accept that my perception of the timing was out, and my question was less relevant than I thought it was.

So, Snowy, you could just have clarified that instead of being rude and trying to hound me out of the community - please do that in future, eh? But I accept that my question was based on an inaccurate reading of the particular sequence of events, so acknowledge my error there.

Read halfway through D1 but then got distracted by playing civ last night. I'm leaving work early today so I will try to get my reads/thoughts out before eon. I'm going to try to not mainly focus on my poe pile as much in my thoughts on D1 posts because I have a tunneling problem.

I still would love to hear from people that joined the damo wagon (besides the fact kak started it and celaph who answered that, I want to know why people originally joined it). That wagon has been bothering me with how it came to be.

After I gave my reads and then later said I’d be willing to vote for damo, durga (rip), and snowy in that order, I realized I was still on tfb. So I switched to damo since I ranked them as my most likely to vote people. If I recall correctly, there was only one other vote on them at the time and no wagon on me. Then I stopped looking at the game to get work done and then came back to a large wagon on me and damo being the only counterwagon.

I don’t completely remember my feelings at eod but I vaguely recall having second thoughts about the wagon because I didn’t completely expect it to blow up so much (considering how much people seemed to bash my reads). But I didn’t know who I would switch to so I decided to trust my initial read. And then right at the end, it seemed like durga was going to get voted out so I switched to make sure there wasn’t a tie (I think after maniac went to damo out of nowhere there was a 2 vote difference and if one person switched there would be a tie). I had scum read durga so at the time, I was fine with her being voted out.

Kak going missing (was he told in scum chat to knock it off with the long posts)?

The lack of a Trademark statement from Brasil.

rdr posted subsequently to this and made no comment. Definite cause for hmmmm.

I suppose the follow up question then is why do you think scum!jamie or scum!Snowy made those moves? Do you think one or both were trying to save Damo by pushing the Durga cw instead as they realized the aaro one was running out of steam? Or do you think scum!snowy was bussing Aaro and saw a way out he took?

It’s quite odd being on a lead wagon that develops quickly. It causes me to consider if there has been a mafia push, but I can’t move away because if he is scum then I’m toast tomorrow. So I’m parking my vote.

Here Maniac appears to be more concerned with his image than with catching scum. He's questioning the wagon he helped to start and push (for terrible reasons), because he thinks scum might be joining it - but he doesn't want to move off because he's concerned that would harm his image.

Which, ironically, doesn't do great things for his image.

Part of me wants to say Maniac being Maniac but idk I really didn't like his vote at EOD. Highly suspect to me given the timing and everything else.

I would have choosed Damo over Durga because I have a townread on Durga and was null on Damo. I am not sure Damo is scum being saved it could have been Aaro too. Don't think it was 3 townies.

The turning point to get Durga killed was Celaph vote, but I don't think scum Celaph does this to save scum Damo, so, if Damo is scum I suspect the next voters.

If Damo is town and Aaro scum I can see both Jamiet and Snowy moving to get Durga killed and also set Damo to be the next one.

Thanks, so to clarify if scum!Damo your scum team is Damo+Jamie/Snowy+??? and if scum!aaro it is Aaro+Jamie+Snowy as of now? I also strongly townread Celaph before the flip so I agree and am reluctant to view him as scum unless Aaro is scum as that is the only world in which I could see scum!celaph for now given the way D1 played out.
