Why me of all people? Like I said earlier. I expected a vanilla setup. I talked to ghug and Eden a lot about mafia theory during/after last game and we talked heavily about how vanilla games were truer mafia games and why power roles should be neutered. When I skimmed the roles I saw the item giver and assumed that met their objective of neutering power roles a bit. I assumed that that would be the sole deviation from a plain vanilla set up. Turned out to be wrong but I think it is an eminently justifiable assumption.

I’m surprised you didn’t read the sign up thread closely. I’ve never played mafia with you but you seem to take it very seriously and I figured you’d read everything closely.

I do take mafia seriously, but because I thought it was going to be a vanilla game I figured I could ignore most of it and read the only obviously non vanilla part of it
