It's not possible for the item tosser to toss an item to someone who then uses it during the same night, right?

Ex: Tossed "Ritual Dagger" to player A in N1, player A can then brutally stab someone right away during N1.

The standard procedure for night actions, which this game incorporates, is as follows:

1. Players with night actions may continually submit orders until the GM posts that “NIGHT HAS ENDED.” Submissions after this point are ignored.
2. The GMs take note of all the governing orders (typically the one most recently submitted) and begin resolving them in order, per the order of operations.
3. Once all night actions are resolved, appropriate DMs are sent out, and the GM announces the public night results and commences the next day phase.

In the example you describe, the recipient of the Ritual Dagger would not be able to submit an order to use the Ritual Dagger during the night in which it was received, as the capacity to submit the order didn’t exist until after the deadline. Thus, a Dagger distributed on N1 cannot be used during N1 and must wait until N2.

And on the note of order of operations, it was brought to my attention that I did not include the roleblock in the order of operations. The roleblock resolves FIRST, ahead of all actions listed in the setup order of operations.

GM NOTE:

This is correct. Item giving is a night action that occurs at the end of the night. Item use is also a night action, and can first be done the night after receipt of an item.

The exception is the Successor Totem, whose power is passive and can activate immediately once given.

When they added another player, they gave mafia a factional roleblock. People are only told they were blocked if they were taking an action (so giving or using an item).

Also, I still think you were faking a townslip. So I think you're scummy, but I'm also not going to tunnel on you for the rest of the game for one comment you made in the first 30 minutes of the game.

Also this is super weird but right after my role PM, I got another PM from Eden saying I was role blocked. I asked him if he was sure and he said yes and also that chaqa did it. I don’t know what to make of it.

idt reading the setup is alignment indicative but it is weird that anybody who's played on this site before (aaro, damo) would be genuinely surprised at other people not reading the setup

I can understand not reading Kak's lengthy early posts (I haven't, I assume they are pre prepared and NAI) but I do not understand why people would not read the set up. You cannot play the game optimally if you are unfamiliar with the set up and claiming not to have done so is lazy at best and a scumplay hinting at VT at worst.
