Classic Snowy. Lean town though he could easily say this as any role.

I see.celaph wrote: ↑Wed Mar 23, 2022 6:22 amThat's a rather traitorous vote I see. Or, at least, it would be if you spelled aaro's name correctly.rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 23, 2022 1:11 amHello fellow townies and some scumbos.
This game I will try a different strategy and will vote on D1.

@Kak - Great story.
##vote Celaph - I didn't like your entrance and the aaro fixation.
Re: M1021 - Blessings of Lilia - GAME THREAD [hidden]
I can understand not reading Kak's lengthy early posts (I haven't, I assume they are pre prepared and NAI) but I do not understand why people would not read the set up. You cannot play the game optimally if you are unfamiliar with the set up and claiming not to have done so is lazy at best and a scumplay hinting at VT at worst.

I can agree with the lazy part, but not the scummy for Durga, she usually claim not reading the setup as any alignment.damo666 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 23, 2022 11:07 amI can understand not reading Kak's lengthy early posts (I haven't, I assume they are pre prepared and NAI) but I do not understand why people would not read the set up. And why you didn't apply the same logic to TFB?
Re: M1021 - Blessings of Lilia - GAME THREAD [hidden]
Even if it's NAI I think it is worthy of a punishment vote.rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 23, 2022 11:10 amI can agree with the lazy part, but not the scummy for Durga, she usually claim not reading the setup as any alignment.damo666 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 23, 2022 11:07 amI can understand not reading Kak's lengthy early posts (I haven't, I assume they are pre prepared and NAI) but I do not understand why people would not read the set up. Wrt to TFB I cannot vote for 2 people simultaneously and TFB did give a plausible explanation.

If Sabi fails to adhere to their 10 post maximum rule they will get a vote from me.
Beware.

HI aaro, both durga and tfb had the same town slip. Why did you believe durga and not tfb town slip? Do you think tfb can read and durga can't? Please explain.aarodactyl wrote: ↑Wed Mar 23, 2022 3:19 amNo, that one was believable. I'm glad you trust me on these matters.
Celaph are you scum?
HI rdr, is your vote on celaph due to him voting for you first or is this your legit explanation?rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 23, 2022 11:06 amI see.celaph wrote: ↑Wed Mar 23, 2022 6:22 amThat's a rather traitorous vote I see. I'm only on 3/10. I'm rationing my post as well as I can be. Can't let my haters and doubters get the last laugh.

Is this a "pressure vote" to pressure me to reading the set up? Nice try!damo666 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 23, 2022 11:07 amI can understand not reading Kak's lengthy early posts (I haven't, I assume they are pre prepared and NAI) but I do not understand why people would not read the set up. I’m going to keep it as a data point but I’m not going to D1 him for it. But that’s because in general all of D1 is NAI. I may or may not be saying that to pull a snowy vote.celaph wrote: ↑Wed Mar 23, 2022 7:12 amI agree that in some platonic ideal of a world that almost nothing is truly NAI (I think Kak's opening posts are). In this case in particular, I think that TFB is about equally motivated to make that post as either alignment and I didn't get any bad vibes from it.
I'm also a little sad to see aaro say he's going to drop it because it was the only thing worth seriously talking about so far.

- Tfb did it first
- I’m pretty sure durga didn’t read the set up as town PR in my first game
- It was funnier to say that in response to tfb. I do think it’s potentially a tiny bit scummy (but less than boat’s)

I have actually no idea why that explanation mark showed up in the post. Webdip formatting is so annoying to do on mobile.
Re: M1021 - Blessings of Lilia - GAME THREAD [hidden]
He wandered on, through the night, nearly fell into a small river and ran against a lone tree or two (it was a moonless night and his eyes were used to streetlight, those beings could've given him at least a torch or something, or the ability to see in the night, but at least no animal attacked him on his way), but as the sun was rising, he finally reached two small houses. At least those seemed to be houses, for the lack of a better word. 'Shack' or 'hut' would've been adequate, if not for the sound of people sleeping in there.
He slowly came closer, gave a friendly "Hello~?" to announce his presence, just not loud enough to wake someone who's sleeping. At first no one reacted but then a voice from behind some trees yelled "Oh, hello mister! How are you, what are you doing here?" He turned and saw an older boy ..., no, a young man ..., no, an adolescent standing there. He waved friendly back and slowly came closer saying "I'm ... kinda lost and on the search for shelter. If possible some food." His belly grumbled. "Of course not for free, but I don't know what I could do to help out, so if you could bring me to someone ..." A thought crossed his mind and he tapped on the pockets of his pants. Gone. He hadn't noticed it before but all his stuff wasn't with him. Well it was kind of logical since his old body was left on earth, but still, that figure could've given him something to help out.
He suppressed his anger towards that figure and continued ... please?" The young one mustered him. "Hmm ... ok, I guess. Just follow me." He jumped on a small path and began to walk. "Well" the traveller started after following a little, "... these houses ... aren't there people sleeping in there?" "Oh yes. Old maniac and Jamie. They aren't awake this early since they work late into the night. That's why their houses are a bit away from the village, so we all can sleep in peace. Thanks for not waking them, don't want to fuel their old neighbours quarrel." he chatted friendly.
After a bit they reached the village center. The folks around gathered and the situation was explained. The people here had mixed feelings though. "Didn't listen to all of that" "What did he say again? ÖAF?" "That was an interesting story" The traveller sighed. At least they didn't bind me up and set me on fire ...
"Well, you can stay for now" the seemingly village eldest said, "but be aware there is something here that might hurt you. And if it's you that will hurt us, then we will strike you down." He looked the traveller into his eyes. "And if you want us to help you, find what is hurting this town, what is hurting Lilia, and get rid of it." After a few seconds of staring, the traveller gulped, then the elder turned away and the rest of the village seemed to follow his example and began to focus on their work again.
Oh great, now I'm in some kind of horror detective story? Who do you think I am, Edward Pierce? What am I supposed to do now? If at least I had a gun ... He was so focused that he didn't notice the young one coming closer to him and giving him a piece of bread. "Oh, thank you" he said surprised but he just smiled and dashed away.
While eating the bread (a bit old but tasting okay), he thought about the next things. He had seen everyone at the meeting except the two sleeping ones, maybe he should start inquiring there first to get the gist of what their business is ... ##vote Jamiet

They said in the sign up thread that they spent over two hours writing their D1 posts ahead of time.
