part of me is excited to not have to think about this anymore and I will be relieved to have the time and mental space back but I also feel an extreme need to contribute as much as I can for as long as I can in the game. I do feel myself becoming less engaged, especially as important life events are happening. But I also was really looking forward to being in the endgame of this one and having more of an impact. Like I said in godthread submission, being voted out feels like the ultimate failure and therefore means I objectively played bad, so I don't want that to happen.

Just to be absolutely clear here; being voted out is not an indictment on your skills as a mafia player. Lets just say for a moment that you are a vanilla town here and you actually are innocent. You did everything you could to fight for your right to a fair process. No one is going to say you messed up. If you are town the things that you did on day 1 and day 2 are inadvertant and unfortunate.

If you are scum like I think you are the things you did on day 1 and 2 were conscious pro scum moves which helped your team hold its position as long as possible. It was a uphill grind and you did as good as anyone ive ever seen at pushing the thin red line as far as possible. You have no fualt in failing to save your team. You have played just fine and this will be a solid experience that helps you appreciate how much fun it is to be town and how grinding it can be to be scum on webdip.

In sum your team faced a very potent town team that only tore itself apart one day out of five. And on day 4 when town was arguing and things were contentious you manufactured an extra daykill on someone who had cased you two phases prior.

You were opportunistic and an absolute asset to scum. you fought hard and used every lawful tactic to stay alive and to further chances of an actual endgame.

gg buddy. keep improving at scum. and do not ever take advice on how to play as scum on webdip from me. enjoy the day I roll scum and you get to catch me easily. Im just really bad as scum

I was really scared to read my role pm, but we good lol.

Celaph was scared to read role pm but sees hes godfather and realizes he doesnt need to do much day 1 and might get cop scanned so hes “good”

additionally this tells us hes good because his scum partners are also good at being scum and thus hes good.

discuss if you agree with these points because I think this might rule out some team compositions if celaph is good with what he saw and if it was like pyxxy, sabi, business I dont think he even says this

and my immediate thought is back to the original idea that celaph was actually not lying here. he was relieved to see he was godfather and I see the fact blamp even reacted to this shows that blamp doesnt necessarily want it to be canon that real godfather is dead because this was a source of shame and disappointment for scum and their only weapon against this is the vague possibility flipper was celaph. this is followed by damo saying its most likely that cel was godfather and the damo gets jani killed by tfb.
So im guessing ghugs parting wish was to jani damo and that was his doc guess.

just alot of thinking from their pov here. blamp is dismissing that cel might be more honest in his relief than merely lying.

also perceptually you made a mistake in saying you want to be alive to endgame to make an impact

A. no town wants there to even be an endgame at all.
B. town always would prefer we never get down
to our last miskill or we lose
C. town would always prefer to be nightkilled for playing well rather than being kept alive to be miskill bait
D. being nightkilled pre endgame is the highest honor for a vt and earning your ticket to the god chat shows you played well
E. if you are still alive at endgame as town it doesnt mean you are bad but it means scum isnt afraid of you and didnt consider you a threat to their safety

depends on how you define endgame

for town when were down to only 2 miskills before we lose that is the endgame
so if your concern was missing out on the endgame you basically are in said endgame

make it to endgame and he measures that as being successful.

its obvious to me that scums only play left is to have flum flip vt or miller and then people like worcej, rhk and pyxxy can potentially be placed ahead of
blamp in the POE and it leads down a rabbit hole.

the better play is to cut off the chickens legs

i played two or three games when i was a teen 10 years ago and now these two games

i saw chaqa tie the vote and was refreshing furiously for someone else to break the tie and would pile on there

oh i know, last game i was so happy to be night-killed, thats the ultimate goal. but in a game where i am sussed randomly from the beginning and also theres like, 4 cleared ppl, that's not acheivable. so the goal shifts to not being voted.

i feel like as a whole, y'all need to consider the context of votes more. My day 1 vote has no weight--it didn't affect the outcome. yet its a crux of why people suspect me. bozo has close to solely looked at my votes to judge me on. it's felt very lazy.

i dunno, i haven't done any sort of good job catching mafia, so i cant judge.

See, this makes me want to not vote you on one hand, because why would you as scum still be pushing me when I'm claimed Doctor? On the other hand, you saw that raising suspicion on me previously got me to back down, and could be leveraging that.

This could very well be one of those situations where everyone in the God Chat is facepalming about us voting you out. Let's hope it isn't.
