hell I kind of even doubt Flum is mafia.

I’m really feeling my narrative on Chaqa/Demon.

I’m worried that I die tonight and then y’all just murder like Lamp and pyxxy and the d1 AFKs and then go “hOw CoUlD tHiS bE hApPeNiNg” when it doesn’t work and then guess wrong on Flum at LYLO and we lose.

I'll go to bat for Blamp, at least.

Why are you so against the AFKs being the kills? Like, not even a full day phase ago, you were lockstep with me in the 4-5 player PoE, now you're suddenly pulling a brainbomb, despite me doing the exact thing you were advocating for.

I'm genuinely confused how we as a town went from having so much agreement and consensus to absolute infighting and discord in the matter of like 24 hours. It's heartbreaking, especially after the huge night we had last night thanks to the PRs.

I'm really sad you probably won't be around much longer Eden. I wanted us to carry this game to the finish line on our backs, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to get strung up for not giving up on the process we all built to win this game.

There's a number of reasons I suspected ghug and also you.

I have a pretty good read that scum is within a small group.

Am I not supposed to vote my scumreads? Are you just offended that someone might vote for you at all?

It's pretty frustrating for you to act like a victim when you've done nothing to dissuade me from your scumminess.

I was annoyed how you were trying to railroad town to do something on a basis you've literally abused before as scum and something I know is wrong.

I find victim culture cringe and I don't want to give off the impression of "woe is me". It was just in the moment I felt the best thing to do was get you out of your tunnel since you're one of the main influencers of town righ now, but then even then you were setting me up to be a VT flipper which was just the unbelievably annoying to me.

anyway I hate to throw a wrench in things, but there’s an obvious issue in the psychoanalysis which is that Lamp’s GT submissions, if they’re to be believed, were generated almost a week ago relative to the perspective post. in the interim the following happened:

• ghug ragequit (not assigning blame here)
• there were various minor blowups involving Sabi (not assigning blame here either)
• brain and Chaqa got into it (see previous note about blame)
• several people cast maximum overcringe angsty self votes (total blame assigned here smh my head @ all y’all)
• Lamp went from a relative TR to being put up against the intractable town steamroller

under all those circumstances, it makes a lot of sense for Lamp to lose his sense of agency and underlying confidence. in fact that tonal shift is actually more proof that he’s town. if he had the exact same psychological frame that would be more evidence of doctoring the GT messages IMO.

you have to remember that we’re human here. if anything the way he’s worn his heart on his sleeve a bit has swayed me more.

now, you could ask yourself why the demoralization happened even as town objectively racked up Ws left and right, but Lamp is obviously not alone in feeling this way, and I don’t think it’s all coming from mafia.

I think Bona did a solid job analyzing Lamp. I think he got something big wrong and I ended up on the opposite conclusion, but aside from that I thought his process was strong and he was clearly looking to the right things.

mind weighing in, as someone who knows Lamp?

I can look at it. I'm already more strongly in the "Lamp town" that I kind of glossed over the post about him.
I don't think scum Blamp tries to get me to townread him when I'm literally on death's door. That is not somethin scum blamp would care to do unless he just wanted a petty moment of "hah I tricked you as you died" which I don't see him doing. It felt like genuine alignment probing.
