I don't have your D1 spreadsheet on hand but I would say go look at how many people I didn't interact with at all. My goal D1 was to just observe how the game works in a forum. I would have acted the same on D1 regardless of being town or scum.

I don't think you can read my alignment from anything that I did on D1, and notably, no one (TFB, brainbomb, Blamp, Bona) has actually tried to call me town or scum from D1 stuff. It's all been N1 onwards.

I only asked one real question the whole day, after over 24 hours of just a few small joke posts because I was getting a feel for the game.

And it was a question @TFB about...why he voted for someone that we now know was town.

Q for TFB: kak vs demon? Preference? Or not picky?

I prefer Kak and am open to Demon. Kak is really bad though to me given he has literally only made one real post (that one actual post was decent and I've credited him for it. And then he responds to my pressure with a "lol nah I'm not going to participate byeee" which really irritated me

But I was also very cautious about coming into this game and getting autokilled by being too chummy with you, if you were revealed to be mafia early (this is me referencing the fact that I didn't know that "scum" & "flip" were the lingo at the time ).

I should also say. I thought the Jamiet99uk cop claim was hella sus at the time, and I felt bad letting you run around like a chicken with its head cut off trying to figure out why town apathy/scum leading the discussion/whatever the fuck was going on.

Although the way this is asked makes me want to unbump Bona's question, and instead side with the opinion that the cops should keep their N2 scans to themselves for now, until we most likely flip Maniac.

I'm learning this game on the fly. Literally in real time I went "Yeah! What were the other scans?" to "oh fuck oh god I should not have posted that".

So I spent N3 going "well, this is all incredibly suspicious, but I trust that at least one person who is saying 'let things happen and then discuss D4' is being honest and I'm gonna trust that". And it's worked out

anyway yea I’m thinking mafia railroaded Maniac after celaph flipped. Boat went super hard shilling that narrative once townies started discussing it. this makes Lamp rather worrisome to me; he initially caught my eye as a player who might be trying to make lemonade out of the juicy sour lemon that was celaph being outed d1 and flipped d2.

Boat’s progression on Lamp is really interesting. in the moment when he’s interacting with the thread, he largely blends into whatever the town is currently thinking and doesn’t give a firm position. when he’s taking his time to write propaganda walls, he takes a more independent stance that’s properly distanced and subtly shades suspicion of Lamp as unwarranted paranoia without committing to the stance.

if I may impose myself and offer unprompted advice, Sabi, you really should just make the spreadsheet publicly viewable, and if you don’t want people to see your other thoughts as you further develop them, start another one that you keep private.

obviously it is Durga’s and Bob’s call as to whether screenshots are enough but I already see reasonable arguments for why they aren’t. (who’s to say you actually showed everything you previously linked? who’s to say that my verification that you have or haven’t is (1) honest and (2) not mistaken?)
