I mean, one of two things must inherently be true:
1. Jamie is mafia and was lying about the copscan (in this case Jamie is probably Flipper and was hoping he'd get lucky on picking Maniac as Miller)
2. Maniac was the Flipper who picked VT

his post about he suspects maniac will flip town.

it makes me think maniac absolutely wanted to suicide to get celaph off the gallows and buy him more time.

so scum wouldve wanted maniac to die yesterday

I actually did a little thinking about this during N2, the voters list might make your thinking easier now

If we extend the hypothetical that Celaph thinks that he is going to be DK'd here, possibly on just an 8-6-3 vote, that means that maybe only town was voting for him? Or maybe that only 1 scum was voting for him at this time, and it was a scum that the mafia had agreed should be bussing Celaph?

The 8 voters at that time of D2-03 were:
Bona, brainbomb, Businesslamp, Chaqa, DemonRHK, pyxxy (myself), TFB, and worcej

and then damo made it 9, Chaqa dropped it back to 8, Eden changed to TFB and then changed back, and then my flip to TFB was (thankfully) too late to count

the thing is that quite frankly I think Maniac makes perfect sense as VT…

it’s just kind of an odd choice to me to choose to flip as a VT. aside from masking the number of remaining mafia (which has very little value IMO), this doesn’t do much; you can’t make any plays to bait PRs, you can’t flip as a Cop-countering role to further disrupt scans, it just kinda lacks inherent utility FMPOV.

obviously that’s a fairly big piece of info I’m setting aside… but I kind of already have a meaningful lingering concern about him that this flip failed to extinguish. that’s as far as I’m willing to take it though, obviously Maniac could still be the Flipper

my theories are kind of wild and frankly are likely to be anti-town to voice and make a big deal out of if I’m wrong, so I’m going to hold them until EON so that if I die you won’t think this was random unexplained BS.
