if ghug’s last scum move is to buddy me from beyond the grave that’s really emotionally manipulative and I’m going to be upset lol. regardless, the last statement seems like a move from town who is protective of someone and feels bad about leaving them. The alternative of it being scum-motivated feels unrealistic, I think he would’ve just subbed out without saying that if scum. From my perspective of knowing I’m town, the only thing he gains for it is affinity from my slot. Which would just feel cruel as a scum move. So here’s hoping he’s town.

from my perspective, i think the people most likely to be scum are the ones who were propping up my case on maniac. if it went through, and maniac was town, i'd be the fall guy and they'd get two miskills out of it. From what I remember, that was Jamie/ghug/Sabi/TFB. Those are my prime suspects to look into, with TFB less so.

I like this idea, although I think TFB would have to mafia (and Maniac town) for more than 1 mafia to be on Maniac's wagon.

also I find Boat’s OOG explanations for not being around kind of sus. feels like this guy was always finding ways to be around and active in previous games.

like obviously RL things DO get in the way and ARE more important. don’t get me wrong. but at a minimum it seems like Boat is using them as a pass more than in previous games, which might be indicative of mafia.

I think the obsession with Maniac being scum thing relies on the notion that Maniac chose every single exact action which only helps scum and therefore it is just too improbable to envision that he just made all the wrong choices

and I say this having read celaph posts about Maniac and in now way do I see celaph talking about a scumteam member in that celaph iso.

so basically were saying it isnt about celaphs posts about maniac. thats all wifom.

all that matters is maniac acted in scums interest in every phase of the process so hes indisputably scum.

which if you really think about is the perfect miskill for scum because theres really no defense for the actions. Maniac can say he felt this way at this time and no matter what he says people will think its obfuscation

My advice? Recognise the hallucinatory nature of reality. Receive all phenomena with equanimity. Meet mistakes with forgiveness and determination. And most of all, do what you want, with love in your heart.

I don't remember bad blood between you two, so maybe I'm missing the context, but from my perspective:

- Ghug, you are being much more scummy and from my perspective difficult this game than normal

- Eden, you have explained your case on ghug pretty adequately, but you've also made a big grand spectacle of being wrong before (see my Cop game) so I would just focus on other avenues for a bit

if you’re serious and I’m misunderstanding, I was completely level in dealing with ghug the entire time. maybe I come off differently than I think over text, but I feel like the difference between e.g. both my exchanges with ghug last night and today, vs my “exchange” (to put it lightly) with Chaqa, is really tonally clear, or should be.

I think ghug is mafia and was employing desperate emotionally manipulative tactics to try to messy up the thread enough so people would write off everything I said about him as personally invested and not worthy of real consideration. his go-to tactic when I’m on his case is to rile me up so people don’t listen to me. this time I think I recognized it for what it was and didn’t take the bait. then—possibly genuinely angry—he subbed out as a ploy to make people think he’s really super serious about it so they’ll just ignore that he’s clearly caught mafia.
