M73 - Fowl Play - Game Thread [HIDDEN]

I'm bothered by how many people coasted into today on reads. I think that Damo, Chaqa, and TFB all came into today with the idea to get me out without much of a contest which feels suspicious. I'm not convinced on people's townread of Chaqa, but definitely TFB is scummy and I think that Damo is worth a look.

You don't think that Celaph would throw one scum in that list?

For context, Celaph's post was at D2 -03 minutes left, when he would have see the vote counts as either 8-6-3 or 9-5-3. Celaph was probably writing this post before damo's vote made it 9, but we can't be 100% sure.

I think it kinda reads like a "I know I'm going down, here's my last attempt to fuck with town". Which is really interesting.

If we extend the hypothetical that Celaph thinks that he is going to be DK'd here, possibly on just an 8-6-3 vote, that means that maybe only town was voting for him? Or maybe that only 1 scum was voting for him at this time, and it was a scum that the mafia had agreed should be bussing Celaph?

The 8 voters at that time of D2-03 were:
Bona, brainbomb, Businesslamp, Chaqa, DemonRHK, pyxxy (myself), TFB, and worcej

and then damo made it 9, Chaqa dropped it back to 8, Eden changed to TFB and then changed back, and then my flip to TFB was (thankfully) too late to count

What I'm asking is, if Celaph only listed town as his last post, can we figure out if we think he wrote those names feeling 100% certain that he was going to die and that he wouldn't have to explain the names?

And if so, is scum!Celaph the type of scum player who would list all town here, or try to sneak in 1 scum, especially if the plan was for that scum to be bussing him?

It was the thing that tipped me over the edge. Afterwards people started talking about how Chaqa might have been baiting mafia to flip and attempt a tie, which led me to have a small freakout about if I had just tripled down on mistakes in D2.

I’m cool with any of these flipping but vaguely think it should be a D1 wagon and more probably FTB specifically.

trying my best to avoid making dirty stinking info kill arguments but it’s hard not to think about those ramifications when all 3 wagons are good here.

that said it’s kinda weird to me that we’re all just kinda cool with all 3 of these. very uncommon on webDip

I'm not cool with Maniac - what information will we gain from that flip?

I mean, obviously the information about Maniac's alignment. But I think more importantly, thinking about flipping people in terms of what information they reveal is an easy way to push out townies. People should vote Maniac if they think he's scum, I am just skeptical that he is.

Maniac upon reread looks like he got celaph wrong and got semi
pocketed and subsequently maniac almost died instead. In no way do I think Maniac could be scum based on what im seeing.

Im awarding Maniac a B+ for how celaph hedged on him
