I liked Demon’s post about Maniac being the cause for his own wagon on Boat collapsing, and then blaming the collapse for his late move off the wagon. it’s way easier to find the post itself in Demon’s ISO than it is to find my comment on it (if I did), but snowy also pointed out Demon’s post before dying. incidentally that’s also why I don’t want to kill Demon.

about rivera, there’s no specific reason for him to be town or mafia IMO. don’t feel he has done anything outside his mafia range but he also hasn’t done anything especially suspicious. he is a true null for me

The fact of the matter is that webDip towns are fucking terrible at navigating Cop info. Absolutely, heinously terrible. Last game y’all hanged Maniac when he had been scanned town because Demon wrongly guessed that despite the innocent scan, Maniac was Godfather. There was no critical thinking or reflection that went into the decision. Y’all just fucking did it and it was fucking horrible. So that requires me to thread a very fine line where I need to be unambiguous about what is my info and what is my speculation, not lead y’all astray because you WILL fuck it up if I do, AMPLE past experience shows this… yet ALSO manage to do it in a way that doesn’t openly advertise the fact that I’m the Cop.

I dont know how I feel entirely about Maniac yet. I get what you mean and I apologize for being malleable and selective. But I asked maniac questions and I feel out of sheer respect without the need for a pressure vote that he will answer my questions about his opinions on pyxxy and sabi eventually.

And if that answer doesnt come by end of day id definetely consider icing him by your side

Why is sabi tier 1?

kind of hardcore doubt they actually go to all the trouble of spreadsheeting like this if they’re mafia. concededly there’s no reason they can’t have, but in my mind it’s a very low probability.

and I think they have been trying to solve the game in their own way. as we’ve seen in the past, their way is unfortunately easily replicated as mafia. but I think it’s genuine.

see, but imagine the scenario where sabi draws mafia again right after having an amazing mafia game. they'd have to know that in order to pull it off again, they're going to have to put in an extraordinant amount of effort and pull out all the stops. including the pity card of "you're all just voting me because i played well," including the spreadsheets, etc. Sabi strikes me as someone hyper-competitive-- apparently they sandbagged old games in order to have a good mafia one. Playing as mafia seems to be their main draw to the game, so I have no doubt they'd go to whatever trouble. so i don't think effort should be the way to determine their role, moreso motive behind their actions

Oooo.... I like this take a lot too. Entirely possible, though I've never seen what explicitly motivates Sabi to play and that would in theory make or break this.

the best compliment I can give sabi about this game compared to the scumgame is that every 4th post is not to tell us theyre on their way to the dentist or that some drama happened on some other server or that something outside the game is more important.

Man it's day two, I'm not supposed to know that yet.

I've realized having missed EoD that it's harder to get a feel for the rhythm of it from the outside. My gut reading it said that celaph was town, and what was left was boat being saved. Boat hasn't been that scummy on his own, but I think celaph has been good, so I'm much more interested in boat if we're killing someone for scumread+info. If boat is scum, I think Chaqa and bozo look like savers. Sabi looks not great, but I'm discounting that because I think they're likely town. Maybe Lamp, maybe Brain, but the votes don't look as bad and the other play looks better.

Outside of that (i.e. if I'm wrong on celaph and/or boat or I'm looking for scum who didn't vote to save him), the people I find iffy are damo, Maniac, and Chaqa again. You were there but I've liked your day 2 more (in terms of towniness; I agreed with you more yesterday).

I don't feel particularly strongly about any one person, which is probably for the best as I'm liable to fall into bad patterns. The people I don't want to kill today are Sabi, bona, brain, lamp, celaph, RHK (though where the fuck is he?), you, maybe pyxxy though I don't totally buy the logic townclearing him.

As usual, we have an opposite opinion: I think celaph is the better info flip.

Celaph's result would help shine some light onto Maniac, Chaqa, Jamie, bozo, sabi, and TFB in my views of EOD1.

Do me a favour and list it out considering you have already done the work.

What can we infer about who as a result of the following:

a) celaph scumflip
b) celaph townflip
c) TFB scumslip
d) TFB townslip ?

b) Chaqa/Demon become hard-lock town for me. BB gets a stronge town read.

I assume you mean flip for c and d? I'll proceed with that:
c) Sabi looks the worst and comes off as trying to save teammate. Maniac/Demon/Chaqa look bad, but there is easier town logic to justify their moves.
d) I don't see anything gained by a town flip of TFB.

What would flipping Celaph tell you about moi?

That you potentially saved him D1. I don't easily see why you would've picked Kak over him when untieing the vote.

It doesn't auto-lock you as scum, but it makes the potential much higher.
