Something has just occurred to me.
I have a habit of editing the subject line of the thread (see above) for my own amusement, and sometimes also the names of the person posting, or even the timestamp of the post I'm quoting. I do this because it amuses me; it appeals to my silly sense of humour.

This behaviour infuriates Damo and he always shouts at me to stop it.

But not in this game. He hasn't reacted to it once.

Is this a scum-tell?
Remember how you thought damo was budding you last game?

Are you getting those vibes
No, I am not.

Well I'm trusting your reads on damo since you are better at reading him than me.

Nope, I hadn't noticed. I haven't really been paying much attention as you may have surmised.

Please refrain from doing it. I think it should be against the rules to eat biscuits in bed. The crumbs get everywhere.
I politely disagree with your opinion.

Maniac I didn't see a reason to vote, but Damo I could join. But it would be better if you join Chaqa's wagon.
I'm liking lamp rn. ##VOTE Chaqa
Weird post and vote. Pretty sure Lamp thinks I’m town, so why would you liking lamp’s issues with rivera entice you to join rivera voting me?

Miles behind. Update summary please.
Snowy died, he flipped chicken.

Brainbomb claims he was roleblocked.

Ghug and Maniac are scum.

There you go.
Explain the bold more for me.

Is Maniac scum because he doesn't post (so a continuation of last game/sign-up drama)?

What is scummy about ghug?
No, Maniac is participating more this game.

I was actually seeing if Damo would ask me the question you just asked me.

On Maniac it was mostly to do with his determined protection of Celaph and his pledge to murder anyone who tried to flip Celaph - and his repeated scumread of Chaqa yet, when it came to the crunch, being totally unwilling to vote Chaqa. However, in recent pages, Maniac has addressed that and, moreover, I am now townreading Chaqa, so I am moving on from that position and Maniac is back to null for me, even though he appears to be voting me.

I do think that Ghug is scum. He's just a bit off. He didn't shitpost D1 as much as he usually does, he seems oddly detached, all his posts are snide little responses to things, he's not trying to take the lead on anything, he's not had any really big exchanges with anyone, it's all just little bits.

in what scenario does it work as a scum play? say scum purposely roleblocked like, me or pyxxy for optimal chance that we’d make a mistake as PR and claim to be roleblocked since we are newer. If it works and a PR is outed, Chaqa gets insta-eliminated by the vote, and the PR is likely doc saved or something. It’s not a good trade for scum, imo. So I don’t think the motivation is as simple as you seem to
Except that there's clearly enough doubt about his intentions.

He's done this before, toe the PR hunting line and play it off as something else when called out.
I don't get why people think Chaqa is too dumb to make a play like this. Chaqa is very smart and he knew what he was doing.
It isn't a question of being dumb from my side. If it wasn't obvious, I wanted to see more of why you think he's doing it.

So far, my belief is you think he's doing it only because he should've known about the RB mechanics and his reason when caught was shit (still haven't looked that up). Am I missing anything?

sabi claimed vt day one under minimal pressure and said just kill me then so people can actuall scum hunt

I noticed you are listing players you think are vt’s and you did not include sabi

is there any constructive reason why youd be advertising who you think is a vt?
Wait, can I know ask why isn't sabi pinging more people's scum vibes?

Will dig for context.
Sabi is in my scum-pool.

Well that's ironic. I did this to you once and you absolutely lost your shit and called for me to be ejected from the game.

I'll say for my part that I've just given up on fighting with you about it.

Can you at least limit it to the names in quotes, though? I don't want to have to start reading thread titles.
Ugh, hard agree with ghug here.

Fuck with the names as much as you want, but the thread titles are annoying.

Why I'm voting for you :

The eod thing
The beginning of day stuff irt roleblock
You and Maniac weird connection
Your pattern of announcing afks

Don't act obtuse.
I actually think this part was towny as it was a legit way to see who'd react (including borks like me who hadn't noticed Bob's unusual rule, but also possibly other reactions).
Your reaction was bad for town, though, and it was a very predictable outcome since most of us appear to have been unaware of the rule.
You're right, my reaction was crap. I'm annoyed at myself for not noticing the rule. Very unlike me.

That's fair. I didn't announce this till end of day one so I can notice any artifical increases or decreases.
Not that you want my advice, but I'd do this exercise and keep it hidden until after D3 so that you have a lot more valid data to analyze and present to be helpful down the road. It's like VCA - it gets better the longer the game goes and more information trickles in - but isn't as absolute since a vote is necessary and binding but interaction can be faked or forced.

Going forward from here in this game, I find little value in anything you're doing with the sheet because of the fact scum know what you're tracking and can adjust accordingly.
The sheet is nothing more than a supplement to use alongside vca and what not.

Yea I kinda fucked up by announcing it early (I got excited over it and have been dying to do it).
Except I cannot use it because your data is now 'dirty'.

Wasn’t a crux of your argument that I did the RB thing to PR hunt and got caught and couldn’t come up with a good reason for it?

So simultaneously im not dumb enough to make a mistake but also dumb enough to not think through if it’s a good ides in the first place?

How ironic that on the rare occasion you and Jamie are singing from the same songsheet you are wrong.
I love how well you can articulate sarcasm so eloquently. (no /s here)

Can you do this more with non-sarcasm? Like, with your reads and observations? (lots of /s here)
