We now have three people who are pretty much townclears. That narrows the pool in which the scum are hidden.

And yes... upon second thought it would not have been good for the mind stone to read him... so I am glad he didn't.

Not a disaster. At least we can now know that Ghug's toxic and apathetic play is just him being a lazy VT and we know that he was not acting in a scum indicative way. It would have been great if Ghug had flipped scum just then, but at least he didn't flip into a PR that would have been a disaster. So, not a disaster and this gives us some information and a town clear to help, if Ghug can actually help.
