Why do you townlean Jamiet when he's being the worst part of this game

Unbelievably harsh when you give a pass to people like Maniac, who literally made posts like this:

“I did not have sexual relations with that woman” Bill Clinton

What’s interesting about this lie is that Bill avoids using the contraction ‘didn’t’ and also that he refers to Monica Lewinsky as ‘that woman’. Both of these are signs of lying. As with all verbal tells they aren’t 100% accurate of course but could be interesting none the less. The explanation of why people avoid contractions is because liars want to seem honest and precise. They think ‘did not’ sounds more convincing that ‘didn’t’.

So does this tell apply to mafia? I don’t know. Some people always avoid contractions and others may not have English as a first language. To really dig deep we’d have to establish what every player’s speech/typing pattern is when they’re town and then see if there is a change when they’re scum.

especially knowing that you spent multiple town games actively fostering an image of being new town just to exploit that image as mafia, what exactly am I meant to do with this performance except just assume you’re mafia doing it again and kill you?

town!sabi sandbagging means we can't trust sabi to be putting in quality work

Quite the opposite imo. It's the lack of quality work that needs to be doubted as that is their secret to avoiding suspicion as scum. If they put in quality work I'd be very much on their side.

I admittedly am guilty of giving them a longer leash and explaining away their questionable play as just Sabi being Sabi and maybe I should shorten that leeway I give them and expect the minimum I expect from an average player and not say scummy things they do are NAI just because it's just Sabi's out of game character, let alone in-game all-alignment play.

I literally zoned in on Durga D1 until she died last game and was brutal to kgray in M70 (I think? it was whichever game jasnah did the dumb thing D1) until like the very end. I give you a long leash because your play across various games and your penchant for creating drama for the sake of drama justifies it to maximize the odds I am right in hunting scum and not killing town.

But anyways let's see if I can get Kak to come back and play. ##vote Kak

Mafia > Civ 6, so that's no excuse. Thanks for the heads up on Macca. Bozo showed up as 17th on the post list at the time I posted. And as for pyxxy, he did post some catch up stuff and I think is still in the process of catching up and trying so I'll give him some more time since it is his first forum mafia game.
