Unfortunately there are only a few hours to go, and I definitely won't be on at EoD, so I'm afraid on this occasion I had little choice but to present my observations, even though you had asked Bob a question about the issue.

Meanwhile, it looks like today it's a choice between damo and bob ... hmm ... that is hard. From what I got reading them, Damo is looking more logical correct, I happened to agree to him on many points. Bob is more a feelings read, I kinda feel a sympathetic energy.

I have looked back at my question "was Damo buddying me" and Damo's reads and voting behaviour actually matched mine a lot less than I thought I remembered being the case. One the one hand he did quickly join me on Durga and was directly involved in giving momentum to her wagon. On the other hand he stayed on Bob while I was really trying to push Vecna D2.

Overall across all the days, it's inconclusive.

First of all, I was really surprised you voted one of the two cop scans, that's something I wouldn't have done, especially since I think mafia would've let them stay them up for them having a free choice for the night and let town soak in paranoia to make them do their job, in a mexican standoff kind of way. I would've been much happier with just voting out of them and hunt for mafia in the remaining players, if lucky even hit the godfather and confirm the two cop scans. Sure, the chance of a scanned godfather is there, but I don't think that happened.

To me, the fact that Maniac died was more a reflection of the lack of involvement from the remaining town players left in the game, which the scum could easily just ride.

I came in with a scum read of Jamie and presented this thought towards the players of the game, hoping those who scummed him numerous times in the past (rdr and ghug primarily) would want to revisit this, but they didn't engage and were past that. When nothing happened there, I started to examine who are liabilities if they are town - Maniac stuck out due to activity issues (barely above 5 posts a phase average) and Bob stuck out for their bad scum reads on my slot and an absolute lack progression on the read. I know my slot is town

I decided that I'd indulge Jamie on his Maniac wagon because Jamie had not gotten any traction for votes and I wanted to explore the chance that if Maniac flipped scum, then Bob's case was gone and I would now be publicly cleared, and if Maniac flipped town, we'd be down an incredibly bad lurker in the late phase of the game.

In regards to who looked the worse on the Maniac flip, to me it was rdr because it's the most inconsistent logical transition that I saw.

Second, saying I'm giving celaph a day is scumreading him. Third, most people (including me) read Bob's "seems legit" as a sarcastic questioning of my fakeclaim. It definitely didn't serve to reinforce it.

Fourth, I don't have time to go through and nitpick at work, but you seem to be isoing in the bot, which means you're bound to miss things.

I don't consider myself sarcastically inept, but clearly my "sar-dar" does not sync with Bobs.

I am using the bot, but also referencing posts around known activity. Saying I am missing things is fine, but you should work to correct it instead of pulling a Trump and just saying "Wrong" in the microphone.

That's the thing, I don't have time to find all the inconsistencies (beyond the context of the Bob post that I pointed out), but I'm warning you off because I know it's a bad way to go looking for things. I'd just read the key moments in their entirety if you want to go back and read things.

Yes, the participation requirements have changed considerably as of this game, by degree of the Council.

There is no minimum post requirement, and no obligation to use your vote. Instead there is an obligation on all players to "participate meaningfully", the adjudication of which is left to the GMs and, where necessary, the Council.

I see. What happened to your read of Jamie afterwards? Did it improve? Get worse? Stayed the same? (also note to self to reread RD there in case I missed something)

Yes, the participation requirements have changed considerably as of this game, by degree of the Council.

There is no minimum post requirement, and no obligation to use your vote. Instead there is an obligation on all players to "participate meaningfully", the adjudication of which is left to the GMs and, where necessary, the Council.

I dislike subjective rules but get the need to empower the GM to replace people that may be meeting the threshold but not the spirit of gameplay.
