I think it is in your part of America, but not in the UK. I'd never heard anyone say it until I encountered it in webDip Mafia, and this is still the only place I've ever heard it.

Potato, potato; potato.
Re: M72 - “Echoes of Evelyn” - Game Thread [HIDDEN]
Uhh Durga isn’t scum anymore probably. Bona and Jamie are basically conftown. Donny’s EoD2 looks even better. HR looks weird but not sure what to make of that. Not sure much else changes?
Re: M72 - “Echoes of Evelyn” - Game Thread [HIDDEN]
So with Bona back in play as a scum possibility I don't need a second busser so rdr back in my townpool.
So my scumpool in order of scumitudiness is:
Vecna Durga Maniac Bona Gold HR

Maniac is kinda null leaning scum for me. I can't read him well.
Re: M72 - “Echoes of Evelyn” - Game Thread [HIDDEN]
When he was scum in your alien game, Jamie, he tried pretty hard to give reads and appear solvy. Here he’s doing what he always does as town and is basically just trolling. It’s significantly different imo

He's not on my radar for today, so not really.
I'd say he's more likely scum than town but not by much.

how often does this method work for y’all in these games? I’m just kind of befuddled by it because obviously everyone here is on a diplomacy site, so they have an intense interest in strategy. beyond that, they’re signing up for a mafia game and so have even more interest in the social deception side of things. so it’s just hard for me to imagine that people would have these stark differences they can’t correct. was this difference never mentioned before; is he unaware of it? Is it just that I’m overestimating how much some people think about this? Lol. Or do people flip their behaviors decently regularly?
if the answer is just like “yeah some people don’t try that hard to alter their game” then I’ll take your word for it. sorry I’m so hung up on this lol

It’s a lot harder to do than you’d think. Playing mafia (the alignment) is tricky and makes you have to make up a lot of stuffBusinessLamp wrote: ↑Mon Jan 24, 2022 12:48 amhow often does this method work for y’all in these games?
