There is no longer an explicit set of minimum participation requirements. Instead there is an "holistic requirement of meaningful participation upon players".

I was joking, yes. I have a mild town read on Vecna, actually.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Fri Jan 21, 2022 3:22 pm@Chaqa: I would actually like to read your answer to the question I asked about town!Vecna framing you.
Were you joking?
Or when you said you didn't like the Vecna wagon, was that actually a joke?
Apparently a lot of your posts are jokes but I can't always tell.
Most of the other jokes you quoted are serious, though.

But you have voted. Your vote is on DemonRHK who you have repeatedly clashed with over the last phase or two. Do you no longer scumread that individual?damo666 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 21, 2022 3:23 pmSo I assume it is quite legitimate to say I've read everything, I am up to date but totally clueless therefore I am not voting. Of course you can. It's simply a group or list of people you are unwilling to vote for.Bonatogether wrote: ↑Fri Jan 21, 2022 3:21 pmthere's no such thing as a towncore, even from a townie's point of view on d2rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 21, 2022 3:00 pmAnd I know you are right.

I feel like Jamie has been a lot better at picking up on context lately so this game feels odd because he's reading everything as literal

Not relevant. I'm merely pointing out it is legit to not vote which I find weird.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Fri Jan 21, 2022 3:25 pmBut you have voted. I have noticed that celaph is reacting a lot to the three of us as well, Bob. I had wanted to get more of a response from my buddying comment before bringing it up.BobMcBob wrote: ↑Fri Jan 21, 2022 1:08 pmOkay, it's celaph time!
First, he missed N1 entirely, which struck me as odd, but on further searching it is not wholly unusual for celaph.
He seems to have homed in a lot on me, kgray and goldie. He has come to very few conclusions and asked a lot of questions, although that is rather standard procedure for him. He hasn't done anything obviously bad other than ignoring kgray more than expected. Slightly odd that he'd be conscious of buddying.
Honestly, I went into this read expecting (and in fact wanting) to scumread celaph more. I pulled up three of his games to try and make something out of him being inactive at night, but as it is, I can't bring myself to give him much more than a scumlean. The only thing stopping me from leaving it there is that a number of other people who know him better as scum are getting scum vibes from him, and I trust that quite a bit.

I wouldn't say "everything", however in that particular case I was catching up quickly and noticed Chaqa's two posts about Vecna which seemed to be in conflict. I didn't immediately pick up on the side-splittingly hilarous nature of Chaqa's remark about framing. Now I get it, and the tears of mirth are literally flowing down my face to such an extent that I can barely focus on this message enough to type it without mfking any typkng msftakes.

GM NOTE:
This is correct. There is an obligation to meaningfully participate, but no obligation to vote.

I have to say that I agree with you. I have always been a proponent of participation minimums and I think this "holistic" standard will prove more tricky to apply. I am fond of clarity and certainty in the application of rules, as you know. I foresee arguments if and when, for instance, it is first used to ban/modkill/replace someone for non-participation. However, that will be a matter for the Council to consider as and when such cases arise.damo666 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 21, 2022 3:29 pmNot relevant.
