I suppose I am. The people who +1 everything kinda ruin the balance though.

Well I'll be damned I've been hovering over the numbers like a pleb this entire time...ghug wrote: ↑Thu Jan 20, 2022 7:05 pmYou can go to someone's profile and see their +1 history (both them +1ing and people +1ing them).goldfinger0303 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 20, 2022 6:56 pmHonorary, pretty much. Re: M72 - “Echoes of Evelyn” - Game Thread [HIDDEN]
Because I spent two hours writing a reads list to the start of D2? That's just what I do in game idk what to tell you. And me on a scum team with ghug? That's just silly lmao. At least the fox/vecna support is good.kgray wrote: ↑Thu Jan 20, 2022 3:22 pmYeah okay so celaph's 'reads' so far have been pretty bland surface-level statements and his questions seem to be more about finding inconsistencies with or asking for clarification on other people's reads. He's neither looking into motivations nor drawing any insightful conclusions of his own.
And I seriously cannot believe he didn't react at all to me scumreading and voting him. I'm hurt and extremely suspicious. Let's get him.
Also I think boatman is scummy now, and the two of them with ghug make sense as a scumteam in my mind.
Also happy with a Fox/Vecna wagon. That slot has done nothing towny.

I mean kgray is Celaph's #1 fan. If I were Celaph I'd take that vote as a pretty big indictment and try to course correct. The lack of response was weird.

I mean she did try to stop it and spent plenty of time arguing with me about it before eventually deciding Flum wasn't worth the effort.Vecna wrote: ↑Thu Jan 20, 2022 4:10 pmso far it did seem pretty close to his usual levels of not giving a shit.ghug wrote: ↑Mon Jan 17, 2022 7:27 amI townread Flum.Fluminator wrote: ↑Mon Jan 17, 2022 7:26 amAll this is distracting from my original request for a pizza.
How about I give a free day 1 AND day 2 townread to the first person that townreads me today.
durga deserves suspicion if she did not try to stop the flum wagon

Celaph has not really responded to any of the other votes either except with a demand for ghug to explain.

What I was saying is theres no way im actually reading all 120 pages.TheFlyingBoat wrote: ↑Thu Jan 20, 2022 6:03 pmI mean I don't think quoting posts from 100 pages ago, giving a half hearted analysis, and then moving on to the next ancient post in counts in my book. I mean if you read the thread you'd know I've been scum reading your slot for about 100 pages now lol. You've done nothing to change that read.Vecna wrote: ↑Thu Jan 20, 2022 8:39 pmWhat I was saying is theres no way im actually reading all 120 pages.TheFlyingBoat wrote: ↑Thu Jan 20, 2022 6:03 pmI mean I don't think quoting posts from 100 pages ago, giving a half hearted analysis, and then moving on to the next ancient post in counts in my book. This bob wagon seems pretty shite. Damo wagon doesnt feel great either.
And just going by general description, Celaph being completely unphased by pressure from Kgray does sound pretty weird, id expect at least some semblance of sadness from the kid.

It’s interesting that both Durga and Kgray who were on Bob yesterday are now on the main counter-wagon today

Do you have a single thought about anyone that isn't related in some way to BobMcBob?
I dislike this post because I also have recollections of goldie soft-gloating or justifying scum actions as scum in the past.goldfinger0303 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 20, 2022 4:56 amI see DeathLlama died though, so I have to re-evaluate my reads.
It seems that someone other than me noticed that DL put a lot of effort into the early game. I don't think I remember anyone else mentioning it though? I'm going to look through the bot later though to make sure. Jokes on scum if they got that hunch off my post - I can't read people for shit. I've probably played ten games of mafia and been town in three of them.
How do you think people should be reading you here? Do you have any strong reads of your own, aside from Bob-town?Bonatogether wrote: ↑Thu Jan 20, 2022 5:45 pmi think you've called me 'difficult to read, null' in almost every game we've played

Re: M72 - “Echoes of Evelyn” - Game Thread [HIDDEN]
For @vecna this is how and where the case began. Important to note that while DL was town it is important to note a) that Fox could only know that if he were scum and b) that jamie is correct to point out this forceful defense came before DL justified any such defense.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Tue Jan 18, 2022 3:22 pmBut yes let me explain my read on Foxcastle.
Let's break down his iso. Only 16 posts so not a lengthy task:
- After pointing out the bot error, he starts complaining about the poor quality of the early shitposting. Durga asked him about this and he made a long rambling bloviating post about serotonin levels. Real "look at me and my extensive vocabulary" stuff.
- I jokingly suggest he should go on Joe Rogan's podcast (where people often talk in that self-satisfied pseudo-intellectual manner) and he sarcastically encourages me.
- He predicts that Durga will want to kill a lurker.
- Similar sarcastic encouragement towards BobMcBob.
- Claims to assume the votes on DeathLlama would be "joke votes" but notes that the people on the wagon take things seriously (implying their votes are sincere; I know mine was). Also thinks that all the votes on Durga are joke votes.
- Provides some simple points of advice to Clamp.
- Suggests he finds Bob and Bona hard to read.
- Durga responds to his comment about how the votes on DeathLlama were not joke votes. Fox replies "I didn't mean you, obviously". This is a bit odd as it implies that Foxcastle thinks Durga was joke-voting.
- Says "I like how Lamp thinks" in response to Clamp asking if "cool" means "town" in the context of Bob saying "bona is cool".
- Challenges Bob to update his view on DeathLlama "now that DL is back". Note that, at the time Foxcastle said this, DeathLlama had indicated "just got off a plane" but had not actually contributed any more.
- Engages in a short nit-picking argument with Kgray about whether he was "looking for laughs".
So let's summarise the weight of these posts:
1. He is very dismissive of the DeathLlama wagon, and when DL shows up he seems very keen for people to re-evaluate their DL votes, even before DL has said anything useful.
2. He predicts that Durga will want to kill lurkers, yet when Durga does vote for a lurker (DeathLlama), he implies Durga was joke voting.
3. He repeatedly offers help and support to Clamp.
4. His other posts are composed mostly of sarcasm and bloviating.
This does NOT remind me of Town!Foxcastle earnestly looking for scum and trying to solve the game. Zero scumhunting is evidenced from these posts.
This DOES remind me of Scum!Foxcastle trying to appear present and active without doing much, lowkey defending a lurker (team mate?) and lowkey buddying the newbie.
Conclusion: I think Foxcastle is scum.
As for you, I feel you're a really strong player, but your reread seems pretty poor and low-effort and your posting just doesn't give me the vibe of vecna making good reads and trying to solve.
Re: M72 - “Echoes of Evelyn” - Game Thread [HIDDEN]
You wanted a summary.
He's way now insightful as town and way more prone to quietude as scum.
