I stand by it. Either defend yourself well in advance or make a screw you post. Flum's essay four minutes before deadline was a half-arsed attempt to get people to swing off him, and I put very little stock into it as a result.

It's also not exactly 'shading' if I consistently voted him through the entire EoD.

This. His answer to a question I had been hounding him on for like an hour was the first serious thing I got from him and I was really hoping that in addition to that I'd get something like that wall half an hour or more before EOD so I could seriously process it and consider it in the context of my attacks and requests of him. Unfortunately by the time he responded it was too little, too late. Just disappointing.

It seems Hr assumes people should react in a certain way as town.
The effectiveness of Flum's attempt aside, I am not sure it was needed at all.
It feels like an attempt to justify continuing voting for flum than anything else.
It was pretty close to last minute and flum was town, in a way I see it as a way to disuade people from moving off flum. Combining that with Hr's certainty on Bob, it just has an odd interaction that feels scummy from Hr.

Not particularly, but I had no idea why half the wagons were there and spent a lot of it trying to catch up on relevant information, so I'd say that for me it was somewhat chaotic. Also the thread was moving pretty fast.
