This is my trust tell. (It's banned on mafiascum but not on webdip yet)
If you look at my two scum games on this site I never once posted I was town, while I regularly do in my town games.

Therefore, I activated my trust tell that I'm town and you can put me in as a lock.

Bozo gets it.

this is interesting. it's setting something up that you can only use until your next scum game, especially now that you've articulated it this extensively. so this is probably the last time you can effectively use it as town. Alternatively, this game is the game that you deem important enough to wreck the streak with (potentially because your good pal BusinessLamp is playing, and because this game has been said to have an impressive player list). I don't think that's the case though-- this feels like the town-motivated culmination of this setup. You need to get the good payoff once and then also get the scum payoff for maximum utilization.

Honestly I'd be more suspicious of anyone who did particularly care whether someone dies. I have no knowledge of who is what and nobody except ghug and TFB had done anything AI at that point. And we do have a track record of D1 lurker kills... Just being realistic.

this is understandable, but you still have to go through the motions of looking for the game to work, and a lot of your posts weren't as directly looking for scum imo

- initially scumread tfb (and also +1'd the ghug post) because it's an incredibly awkward response to some minimal early pressure. kind of "I'm obligated to respond to it because it scumreads me, but idk what to write" vibes. The later discussion with ghug seems fine though

How is that an awkward response to early pressure? There was no pressure at all. My response was fairly obviously a joke. My literal next post was me jokingly calling kgray's semi-serious, semi-joking comment where she said "odd and a bit scummy is all part of the boatman charm" the "nicest thing kgray has ever said about me".

what did you like about the list?

When he inevitably got a bunch of heat for a poorly slapped together and somewhat illogical list, he immediately started probing people about their responses, not just trying to justify his silly list. If it wasn't intended to be a reaction test, it certainly ended up being used as one anyway.
