If I had to put a finger on it I think it's that he quoted a single post that wasn't very interesting. If he'd just said "Jamie's town" out of nowhere, I'd be more OK with it.

It's an incredibly lazy post for Bozo, and seems rather arbitrary even beyond that, as I don't think anyone has done anything super town-ish yet, but somehow he's classified at least 12 players as having done so. His list reeks of easy D1 kills.

- I'm not thrilled with the Bozo post either but this seems like a lazy attempt to attribute scum motivations to something that doesn't seem alignment indicative

- Donny's indignation during that interaction with celaph seemed pretty genuine. I don't see why it would be explicitly town-indicative but it feels townie to me?

If you look at my two scum games on this site I never once posted I was town, while I regularly do in my town games.

Therefore, I activated my trust tell that I'm town and you can put me in as a lock.

Bozo gets it.

this is interesting. it's setting something up that you can only use until your next scum game, especially now that you've articulated it this extensively. so this is probably the last time you can effectively use it as town. Alternatively, this game is the game that you deem important enough to wreck the streak with (potentially because your good pal BusinessLamp is playing, and because this game has been said to have an impressive player list). I don't think that's the case though-- this feels like the town-motivated culmination of this setup. You need to get the good payoff once and then also get the scum payoff for maximum utilization.

I don't like this post. In the current gamestate it's not inherently scummy, but a newer player that has emphasized trying to be careful in posting taking a blind leap of faith on a play that only has a solid payoff in limited and mostly scum motivated instances feel wrong.

You think that's towny, or do you think he was actually looking for some sort of alignment-indicative reactions? I don't know what OOG means, but yes, I thought it could be a type of reaction test. Fluminator saying he is town is a good indicator, certainly good enough for D1.
