"Bad" as in "bad at the game" or "evil Damo buddying town Jamie" ?

Re: M72 - “Echoes of Evelyn” - Game Thread [HIDDEN]
Then why do you like Chaqa's point when his point was that I might be listing players I think are easy mis-kills? Why do you think as mafia I would list my easy to kill teammates?Bonatogether wrote: ↑Mon Jan 17, 2022 11:21 pmno cause that's dumb as fuckbozotheclown wrote: ↑Mon Jan 17, 2022 10:44 pmSo in the scenario where I am mafia listing easy D1 kills in the hope of getting them DKed, do you think I listed only town?

He's definitely talked about this trust tell thing before, for whatever that's worthBonatogether wrote: ↑Mon Jan 17, 2022 11:25 pmdoes scum flum do this? idrFluminator wrote: ↑Mon Jan 17, 2022 11:23 pmI won't always use a trust tell when I'm town. (Often I'll get by from tryharding and being useful)Donny Dude wrote: ↑Mon Jan 17, 2022 11:18 pm
So you are town because of a trust tell?
Why reveal that?
But in this context I kind of want to be a useless lurksack, so it's the perfect game to conftown myself and get nightkilled without being a distraction to other townies analysis.

I'm glad to hear it. You need as much help as you can get, but I truly believe that you can be cured.BobMcBob wrote: ↑Mon Jan 17, 2022 11:56 pmThank you Doc's castle, I benefited greatly from this useless psychological "assessment".Foxcastle wrote: ↑Mon Jan 17, 2022 2:58 pmProbably because people have been cooped up over the holidays/between terms/in the weird interstitial space between when normal social patterns end in mid-December and before they begin in mid-January. for the future, is there an easy way on this site to start from the last post you read?

also does scum theater have a specific meaning beyond scum pretending to be town
Re: M72 - “Echoes of Evelyn” - Game Thread [HIDDEN]
This game got serious fast! Well done.
I would assume the votes on DeathLlama are jokes, except that the people on that wagon take themselves too seriously. And the Durga votes are actually all jokes, though.

Yep that's me. Absolutely brutal I am.
Waaaiiit...
Re: M72 - “Echoes of Evelyn” - Game Thread [HIDDEN]
I think it specifically refers to two scum pretending to be in conflict so that town will conclude that they can't both be on the scumteam.BusinessLamp wrote: ↑Tue Jan 18, 2022 1:40 amalso does scum theater have a specific meaning beyond scum pretending to be town

In the Forum Games section where all the threads are listed, there's an icon to the left of the thread title that will take you your last unread post (or at least the last page where you read something).BusinessLamp wrote: ↑Tue Jan 18, 2022 1:36 amfor the future, is there an easy way on this site to start from the last post you read?
Re: M72 - “Echoes of Evelyn” - Game Thread [HIDDEN]
Bob and Bona are two players that I feel like I should have gotten to know by now, but for some reason I haven't.

Re: M72 - “Echoes of Evelyn” - Game Thread [HIDDEN]
Bob is saying a lot but also nothing, wouldn't be opposed to voting there. Feels weird that DL didn't even participate in the joke phase so I'm also happy keeping my vote here
Re: M72 - “Echoes of Evelyn” - Game Thread [HIDDEN]
Well it was odd, and illogical, and I made a post about it to the god QT, but it didn't seem like a purposeful misrepresentation. I think doing that push is a relatively good look for ghug even though the push itself was poor. DL8 +1ing that of all things is odd though...kgray wrote: ↑Mon Jan 17, 2022 7:01 pmOkay, I actually think scum!ghug is more likely to be serious early, but I see where you're coming from.Donny Dude wrote: ↑Mon Jan 17, 2022 6:54 pmFor the first one, any push ghug made, although you have a point that scum ghug could be doing it for towncred if aware of his own meta enough, the fact the scum ghug is super not pushy and more jokey is a difference.
For the second one, Not particularly ,it d1, there was an emotional component to him coming back to questioning again, that came off as wanting an answer instead of just asking for the sake of doing so to appear active.
I know the subject matter of the push is sort of whatever because it's so early, but can you let me know if you think it seemed like ghug was misrepresenting the way boatman defended himself? It seemed really odd to me but nobody else seems to care, and deathllama even +1'd ghug's offending post, so I want someone else's opinion.
Re: M72 - “Echoes of Evelyn” - Game Thread [HIDDEN]
Yeah, basically this.Donny Dude wrote: ↑Mon Jan 17, 2022 7:25 pm
Ghug was being serious and very literal reading it again.
I also think tbf answers later on explain his point too. I do get somewhat where Ghug is coming and is trying to get a clear answer. I do buy tbf's later posts on uhh page 11 about the scrutiny.
I don't think ghug was misrepresenting and I think the fault lies in that miscommunication of serious versus jokey.
