I feel like if we're this all over the place on who to lynch than probably whoever we do lynch will be a townie unfortunately.ChippeRock wrote: ↑Tue Aug 07, 2018 7:59 pmVote Count 1.3

How do you suppose? Spreading out votes gives us more information down the line than having two or three obvious wagons to choose from so early in the day.ChippeRock wrote: ↑Tue Aug 07, 2018 8:00 pmI feel like if we're this all over the place on who to lynch than probably whoever we do lynch will be a townie unfortunately.

Re: MAFIA XXXVIII: INFINITY WAR
If we are this undecided on who's scum than that means there's a lack of information on who's scum and therefore it's probably closer to random on whether or not on we're lynching scum or town.bo_sox48 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 07, 2018 8:04 pmHow do you suppose? Re: MAFIA XXXVIII: INFINITY WAR
Okay, but if we force flash, xorxes, Ezio, y2k, ghug, yavuz, and yourself to bail on the people you're voting on and pick someone who has multiple votes to try and establish the day's wagons then we're robbing ourselves of information that comes down the line as people flip, which is when we have our best shot of determining what all of our intentions were with the votes that we cast.
Do you think that we should have information on the scumteam by now? How do you suppose we get it?

How do you think we can be sure we are lynching scum on D1? Or are you advocating a no-lynch?
Re: MAFIA XXXVIII: INFINITY WAR
Did I hear NoLynch?
I heard whispers of it from Foxcastle but I was certain he was memeing.

Lookie here, I finally found a topic to bring Ezio out of his shell!
Did I specifically mention a No Lynch? You know how unrealistic it is to get 12 people who have already voted to vote for a no lynch...

Re: MAFIA XXXVIII: INFINITY WAR
Thanks for asking. I’ll take this as a reminder to ##VOTE yavuz.
Initially, I was thinking that DT and Foxcastle might have been bussing him but I don't think that entirely anymore. I’m still on board with a Fox-yavuz team, though. You pointed out that DT's play has been "out in the open" so I reread him myself and I agree with you. Fox, though, rubbed me the wrong way with this:
At first glace, I agreed with him. I thought it was a good point. I noticed that he made the point and disappeared, which is important. Then, I reread yavuz. His vote on you, Squiggles, was classic yavuz. He took something you said and ignored all of the possibilities except for one that he wanted to go with, which is that you are the serial killer and you faked a slip so that nobody would catch you. What isn’t classic yavuz is that he is blatantly going against his own views by keeping his vote on you instead of throwing it all over like he often does, and by keeping his vote on you and trying to catch the SK, he is actively avoiding scumhunting despite reminding us on a couple of occasions that it's more important to catch the mafia team than the SK.
On page 34, yavuz reinforced my stance with this gem:
a) yavuz said you, Squiggles, are the SK.
b) if yavuz prefers lynching scum to lynching the SK, why is he voting for the guy who he thinks slipped SK instead of someone else? Remember that he reinforced his vote on you on page 32, switching back from voting for Fox earlier on page 32 for… reasons.
c) if yavuz thinks flash slipped SK as well, as he said on page 33, why is his vote still on you for slipping SK? Why is he saying that we should focus on the mafia team putting all of his effort into asking the GMs about SK mechanics and voting for people he thinks slipped SK?
I think three things are happening: first of all, yavuz voted for Fox on page 32 for basically nothing, which should have signified that he was leaving the “case” on you, Squigs, behind. Instead, he jumped back off of Fox and back onto you, and then all of a sudden picked up the case on you again. It made no sense at the time, but given the idea that yavuz doesn't want us to notice that he isn't scumhunting, it makes some metric of sense that he would drop a vote on a teammate and then go back to what he was doing. Second of all, Fox posted what I quoted above on page 33, after yavuz voted for him. He is upset that yavuz just needlessly connected the two of them and he is trying to separate himself from him. He doesn’t vote for him, or pressure him, or ask him anything - he just says what he says and waltzes off. He just leaves a tidbit of a scumread against his teammate, who for obvious reasons is really easy to scumread. Third of all, yavuz is hunting hard for the SK and not hard for mafia because they’re his teammates. The only information he doesn’t have is who the SK is and that bothers him. That's why he's been playing the way he has so far.
Re: MAFIA XXXVIII: INFINITY WAR
Easy, I don't have a scumread yet. Who should I vote for? Towns? Slight bad feelings from bob) if yavuz prefers lynching scum to lynching the SK, why is he voting for the guy who he thinks slipped SK instead of someone else? Remember that he reinforced his vote on you on page 32, switching back from voting for Fox earlier on page 32 for… reasons
He is right. I don't have defence here.c) if yavuz thinks flash slipped SK as well, as he said on page 33, why is his vote still on you for slipping SK? Why is he saying that we should focus on the mafia team putting all of his effort into asking the GMs about SK mechanics and voting for people he thinks slipped SK?
Re: MAFIA XXXVIII: INFINITY WAR
I don't. I said that once. Bo's agressive attack is towny for me - he tries to find. But this is also scummy he creates fake evidences. I didn't like that (not surprised as he is voting mehe is actively avoiding scumhunting despite reminding us on a couple of occasions that it's more important to catch the mafia team than the SK.

Re: MAFIA XXXVIII: INFINITY WAR
I wish I didn't have to go to work. I would love to go back and forth with you about how you townread me because I'm playing like you expect a town player to play, but you scumread me because you think I'm lying in order to make myself look like town.yavuzovic wrote: ↑Tue Aug 07, 2018 8:57 pmI don't.
