I am not sure I understand your statement. You don't want to play the same way just to not establish a meta?flash2015 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 07, 2018 5:29 pmI **thought** I was obviously town (I don't know how I could have been more obvious)...but if I understand correctly even at the very end the other remaining players were still not confident in it. I am not going to play the same way each time to establish "meta".rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 07, 2018 5:19 pmYou didn't answer my question, at least not directly.
Answering yours, I think it was a really effective strategy. You were pretty obvious town at the end and you blocked my attempt to win the game. This game is not only about finding scum, being townread when you're town is also important.

Re: MAFIA XXXVIII: INFINITY WAR
Because he claimed Gamora and the last thing town wants is to lynch Gamora and give SK a nightkills?
Re: MAFIA XXXVIII: INFINITY WAR
Nah, he came to that decision all by himself. (And I think it was the right one, anyway.)Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Tue Aug 07, 2018 5:24 pmYou felt there was a good chance he was town, but you went ahead and pressured him into claiming his role?
*slow clapping*
Re: MAFIA XXXVIII: INFINITY WAR
We are really labouring the point here. I am not wanting to play the same way because I obviously wasn't effective. I am not going to worry how you "meta" read me.rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 07, 2018 5:34 pmI am not sure I understand your statement. Yavuz seems off. He's usually more willing to engage, usually more willing to read up, and unusually willing to vote without stating much of a reason (his reasons are usually gut reactions, but they are strongly held).

Re: MAFIA XXXVIII: INFINITY WAR
Because he's claimed a town role and hasn't been counter-claimed. If his claim is true and you get him lynched somehow, the Serial Killer gains huge power.
Are you the Serial Killer?
Re: MAFIA XXXVIII: INFINITY WAR
I am not seeing the danger. The SK would need to join the wagon to get the stone. If the BB wagon isn't popular (i.e. only two or three on it - the SK uses his power to lynch) there would be very few suspects. And again this is still very early in D1.rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 07, 2018 5:35 pmBecause he claimed Gamora and the last thing town wants is to lynch Gamora and give SK a nightkills?
Re: MAFIA XXXVIII: INFINITY WAR
Sorry, I'm busy, I said that before game starts.
And I think flash just Sk slipped.
Also we always focus on SK but I think scums can use this to hide themselves. Mafia team is more dangerous before SK gets the stone.
Re: MAFIA XXXVIII: INFINITY WAR
OK, I am getting offended that people think I am a stupid scum or SK...

Re: MAFIA XXXVIII: INFINITY WAR
Welcome to Mafia. The game where you say one thing wrong and you won't ever hear the end of it.
Re: MAFIA XXXVIII: INFINITY WAR
This isn't helpful, I guess the question is whether it's malicious...
If Flash were scum and wanting to end on non-competitive wagon to avoid vote analysis later, there are more subtle ways to do that than doubling down on a joke vote.
Re: MAFIA XXXVIII: INFINITY WAR
Agreed Yav, more important (at this stage) to nab scum rather than SK which is why my vote remains on Fox. In fact assuming brain's claim is true then SK is nullified as long as we ensure top wagon is at least 3 ahead of brain. Of course the easiest way to ensure that is simply to avoid voting for brain. So Flash I suggest you move your vote.
Re: MAFIA XXXVIII: INFINITY WAR
If my play was being mis-classified as play from an extraordinarily good scum or SK player I wouldn't mind so much. It is only the stupid part I am really taking offense to...

Re: MAFIA XXXVIII: INFINITY WAR
Iso'd DT and he is playing very much out in the open. I like his play so far.
