Re: MAFIA XXXVIII: INFINITY WAR
The likliest explanation for your inabiloty to find any scum so far is that you are first time scum without guidance

@Flash - Last game you were open and direct at D1, and it was a pretty towny approach. This game you are hedging a lot. Could you give some explanation why you changed your play or you don't think you changed?

Everyone is pushing on Flash, but no one is voting him. I'll start:

Re: MAFIA XXXVIII: INFINITY WAR
I guess my question to you is - Did you think it was an effective strategy in finding scum? If not, why should I keep following the same strategy? Especially since the noise to signal ratio on D1 is very high.rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 07, 2018 5:08 pm@Flash - Last game you were open and direct at D1, and it was a pretty towny approach. People love writing when they don't have information but when they get valuable information, they start to think before writing and they write less. Whatever.

VT's with stones know they have stones if they have stonesJamiet99uk wrote: ↑Tue Aug 07, 2018 12:29 pm##CALL GM
When sent their role PM, does Gamora know they have a stone, or not?
You should read rule 11 more carefullyflash2015 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 07, 2018 5:14 pm##CALL GM - Rule violation! Rule violation!yavuzovic wrote: ↑Tue Aug 07, 2018 5:13 pmI hate D1s

You didn't answer my question, at least not directly.flash2015 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 07, 2018 5:12 pmI guess my question to you is - Did you think it was an effective strategy in finding scum? Answering yours, I think it was a really effective strategy. You were pretty obvious town at the end and you blocked my attempt to win the game. This game is not only about finding scum, being townread when you're town is also important.

Why would SK claim? He would just get NKd and the scum team gets the power stone. The only thing SK claiming does is help scum."
Or I turn back

This is definitely fake townslip since this happened so early and it's like considered before he said that.

Are you saying your only voting flash because you think he's got thr biggest wagon? No explanation at all is scum behavior.

Okay, so Brainbomb's claim, which has not been CC'ed, is entirely plausible.RagingIke297 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 07, 2018 5:18 pmVT's with stones know they have stones if they have stonesJamiet99uk wrote: ↑Tue Aug 07, 2018 12:29 pm##CALL GM

Re: MAFIA XXXVIII: INFINITY WAR
You felt there was a good chance he was town, but you went ahead and pressured him into claiming his role?

Re: MAFIA XXXVIII: INFINITY WAR
I had a few posts earlier saying why I think Flash might be scum. After saying those things, others have pointed out scummy things he has done since then.ChippeRock wrote: ↑Tue Aug 07, 2018 5:22 pmAre you saying your only voting flash because you think he's got thr biggest wagon? Re: MAFIA XXXVIII: INFINITY WAR
I **thought** I was obviously town (I don't know how I could have been more obvious)...but if I understand correctly even at the very end the other remaining players were still not confident in it. I am not going to play the same way each time to establish "meta".rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 07, 2018 5:19 pmYou didn't answer my question, at least not directly.flash2015 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 07, 2018 5:12 pmI guess my question to you is - Did you think it was an effective strategy in finding scum?
