because they're my friends and i don't appreciate the way you talk down to people. it's not complicated lol
Do you think it's talking down to people to point out their flaws in a game they clearly desire to improve in?

Earlier a number of people engaged Sabi in their scum hunting activity, but so far as I could see they mostly remarked on the manner in which their activity causes others to perceive them, not the manner in which that scum hunting results in Sabi seeing others.

Some here are entirely immune to improvement, but I don't believe Sabi is, and so I make these comments. You can yell at me until the Sun dies and the Universe goes out but I doubt I'll ever stop, so be forewarned
I suppose you're just incapable of offering feedback that isn't patronizing. Doesn't help when you're telling a kid who was just miskillled for literally no reason that it's his fault, or when you're exaggerating about someone literally never being right.

Also I'm not yelling at you, and I'm not going to respond to this topic anymore, so stop trying to make this a whole thing.
Lol, I missed this gem the first go around.
I could see Snowy intentionally being patronizing as a scum strategy. It
1. Lowers morale and enjoyment of people playing the game, resulting in less activity
2. Provides a sort of cover for both scum teams which will prevent the opposing team from wanting to kill him. And scum are playing to survive.

Being an active town member making real pushes is actually risky for mafia because if they push the wrong person they get nightkilled. Mafia can't afford that, while town players can.

Like, look at my wagon. Damo likes to use very first order logic, though even him taking the "if I die" shit seriously is questionable. Meme is trolling. Snowy is trolling. I'm part of bozo's tunnel, which has been universally dismissed as faulty logically. Macca isn't really playing the game. Boat's read feels legitimate but is also an incredibly lacy pile on. You see that wagon form and it doesn't cause you to question its validity even a little?
I don't think bozo's logic is dismissably faulty
Just like normally faulty then?
Most mafia logic is faulty, but nothing bozo is saying deserves unilateral dismissal

One of the reasons I wanted people to answer if they played multi before is because players who have will be much more aware of the mechanics that make scum being tricky.
I've played multi games on mafiascum a few times now and the gist is.

Scum that are too scummy get daykilled.
Scum that are too townie get nightkilled.

And it's all about balancing that middle. A lot of first time players don't realize that it's often not optimal play to try to look as townie as possible. There's always at least one scum who is who learned the hard way. (That's where I mentioned the "so townie your scummy" thing). I think Durga is the perfect example of this.

But scummies actually do act different from townies (and the ones who don't will likely be taken care of by our enemy's enemy).
And yes I was pushing a different narrative day 1, but day 1 is a waste anyway and I wanted an environment where scum felt safer doing scummy or lazy things. (I did say I had a method which I was keeping secret day 1)

Tl;dr I'm pretty sure Snowy is playing this style of game where he's playing a survivor's game, not a townie game. And that's pretty scummy

I mean fair. I'm just kinda tired of us wasting the day in a holding pattern, waiting to see who will do what about my wagon.

I think we're (read: bb and bozo mostly) are managing to chug along regardless of said holding action

You don't have to j'accuse to progress the game all the time
