Re: MAFIA XXXVIII: INFINITY WAR
Regarding the flash
First, the ‘second post’ line on page 5 was bad. I understand the busy-ness of life, but posting like this doesn’t do anything. Would scum be so blatant though? Unless he is trying to hide in plain site.
Second, on page 6, he complains about brain’s voting record. Wanting to make sure he gets credit for starting the wagon. Again, not AI, unless he is trying to be obvious, and thus escape detection.
Third, page 13, he jokes about the slaveryND thing… posting, but not relevant. ALL of which is perhaps typical D1 escapades… but feels to me like trying too hard.
The next five posts all refer to the ‘do VT receive names in their PM’ discussion. He seems unclear.
Then on page 26 he declares that he likes the Brain wagon, just to annoy Brain… but is really liking the snowy wagon, but is worried about what the room will think of him…
All of which looks like a scum hiding without interaction?
So
@flash… why are you liking the snowy wagon?
@flash… is tunneling always scum indicative?

Re: MAFIA XXXVIII: INFINITY WAR
VUV is the ISO 4217 code for the Vanuatu vatu. It was introduced when Vanuatu became independent in 1982, replacing the New Hebrides franc and the Australian dollar. Interestingly, it has no subdivisions; as a result, large transactions are sometimes quoted in "dollars," though the currency has no current relationship to the Australian dollar.

Re: MAFIA XXXVIII: INFINITY WAR
and also @flash.... does your continued vote for the Brainbomb indicate that you strongly don't believe his claim? Or have you just been busy?
Re: MAFIA XXXVIII: INFINITY WAR
It is a guess, a gut feel. Unlike others I am not going to assert false confidence in my reads. At least from my understanding Fox is a well-seasoned Mafia veteran. I just don't believe he would have exposed himself like that first day. It looked like he was hoping for a scum slip...as worcej behaviour made absolutely no sense for a VT. I am liking the snowy wagon more as I know he isn't as good as Fox (no offense) so his behaviour here with worcej appears more scum indicative (the quick backoff too), especially since I also know he was much less active in the last game he played (M36 - I think Jamie gave him the nickname "slushie"). I am not terribly confident in this reading, of course, but since this is still early in D1, who is?dargorygel wrote: ↑Tue Aug 07, 2018 4:18 pmRegarding the flash

I don't understand the second question. I explicitly said I thought Vecna was scum in the previous game due to tunneling...and that almost led to tragedy. I am wary of going down the "tunneling = scum" path again and certainly not on D1.

lol... yes, I did... I am asking what you think about his claim... and wondering if your view of his claim is discernible in your retaining a vote for him

Re: MAFIA XXXVIII: INFINITY WAR
and regarding your other answers...
About snowy, fair enough. I appreciate your hedging.
D1 is D1 after all.
About my question, you answered it, really. Thanks.

Re: MAFIA XXXVIII: INFINITY WAR
Flash hasnt had a chance to talk with his scumteam about who he should push yet. No sense spewing anyone town until hes asked them who he can get away with pressuring
Re: MAFIA XXXVIII: INFINITY WAR
I don't have any evidence currently that he is lying...so I probably have to assume it may be in the realm of possibility that he potentially could be telling the truth (grumble, grumble).dargorygel wrote: ↑Tue Aug 07, 2018 4:45 pmlol... yes, I did... Re: MAFIA XXXVIII: INFINITY WAR
I thought that was implicit, because if I have to explain that scumhunting is good, then town is fucked. I also mentioned it in a reply to Jamiet. But also, I wasn't sure that he was scum. His slip was a mistake that implied he wasn't a VT, not that implied he was scum, so I knew there was a good chance he was town. And then we never really got to probe the scum angle because he claimed doctor pretty quickly.
Re: MAFIA XXXVIII: INFINITY WAR
Im quite happy youve outed yourself as scum. Anger is not my emption
