I'm not sure I'm convinced by Foxcastle's wall of explanation there.

It seems like he's explaining himself from the perspective of "what would be the best non-scummy explanation for my actions?" rather than "what was I actually thinking at the time".

While Fox's explanation is logical, I'm less convinced that it's a sincere reflection of what he was actually doing.
Thats what I said, but town does do that as well

I have fleshed out my explanation, yes. But the basic points of what I was thinking in that 20-30 minutes are all there. It's not like it was a mad rush under a time crunch, I had time to consider, and time to PM the GM with questions. Basically, my thoughts in the moment were:
1) This is a big slip by worcej;
2) If he's scum or SK, it needs to be highlighted;
3) If he's a town PR/stone holder, the damage is done and we cannot assume that the scum team did not notice, so Town needs to work through this.

The points that a strategy based on hoping your opponent misses a key detail being a bad strategy are a basic approach to my gameplay, and I think it's dumb to imagine that somehow scum didn't see that and wouldn't use it against us.

@Vecna
This is listed as one of the possible Role PM's:

Gamora (VT with Stone attached)
You are Gamora, daughter of Thanos! You are a vanilla town. Each day you may vote on who to lynch. You win when all foes opposing the town have been eliminated. The Soul Stone is attached to you, but you cannot use it. It only becomes activated when in the hands of Thanos (Serial Killer)
Yeah except all other VT role pm's are also mentioned with their flavournames, but its been deducted that noone actually has that flavour in their role pm. So my question is whether we know for sure whether thats the case for the vt's with the stone
Considering how my slip happened, Brain is in fact being himself and spreading misinformation to hook others. No VT knows their name as of this point and that includes Gamora.
Not true. I was told my role name and that gamora is vt with soul stone.

Btw mods, you should probably have someone on the mod team email HR or he's definately gonna forget this shit started.

Were probably gonna have some modkills regardless.

Squiggs - you may have something there with Fox and Flash ....

or maybe not ...

I think it's more logical to vote Fox than Flash at this stage.

HR always does this. I'm sure in the majority of games I've been in with HR, he has not shown up in the first 36 hours.

Also, Worcej, there is no "bad blood" between us from the last game, at least not from my end. I was pushing/tunneling you hard because I was scum and I thought I had a chance to get you lynched. That was my job. You pushed back because you were town. That's how the game goes, and I hope you can see that there's no reason that dynamic should spill over outside of M37.

DoubtingThomas's exchange with Vecna over the last few pages looks super contrived.

I am not believing Fox is scum currently. I don't know why a VT would be trying to claim VT so early in the game. It either draws attention to you if you are not VT ...and if you are VT it makes it easier for scum to find PRs.

I am liking the snowy wagon...but I don't want to move yet as I don't want to jynx it (I don't want to jump around too much without good reason). Also I am trying to keep my word BB wagon tradition...and I do like that the wagon annoys BB :).
Fox Flash scumteam right here?
You really are obsessed with me, aren't you.

Darg is a fine choice, and I'm happy he and snowy are tied for second place, but I want to put Y2K into contention, because I think he's being lazy and jumping from reason to reason to try to get me lynched.

##VOTE Y2K

So, there are currently three people on Dargorygel.

Ghug voted Darg on P.3 in what appears to be a meaningless joke-vote.

Xorxes joined on P.5 because Ghug encouraged him to, and openly said he didn't know what the case on Darg was.

Brainbomb posted that there was a "compelling case" on Darg and that he would only vote for Darg or ND. (Brainbomb is now voting for neither of those).

Foxcastle jumped on after Brain's comment, saying he agreed with the case on Dargorygel.

@Foxcastle: You are on a 3-person wagon alongside Ghug and Xorx whose votes were clearly joke-votes during the shitposting phase. Since you appear to be the only person with a sincere vote for Darg, would you explain to us what exactly Brainbomb's "compelling case" consisted of, and what it was that convinced you? Does it bother you that Brain is no longer pushing this case which is so compelling?

Ugh and Fox jumps just as I am questioning his vote.

Still, Foxcastle, tell me the case on Darg?

Thats all nice and dandy, but I would still like to have a unanimous snowie wagon.

We gotta score some nice first this game, and that would be a quite epic way to do it.

22 votes on snowie where even his teammates and he himself are bussing his ass.

Vecna I'm with you on Snowy, but if 22 people vote for him, you will owe a lot of favours.
