In regards to contributing to the game: a series of never ending questions to me and not one deez nutz reference which is amazing.

What does it mean to you to contribute, then? Because it’s certainly possible to ask a bunch of questions and not come to any conclusions, which I wouldn’t consider a contribution.

I’m regards to how kills are set up: So there is two night kills but town only gets one day kill? That seems a bit unfair to me. What is the lylo/kylo math on how many miskills town is allowed before we are fucked?

I’m not sure. The numbers get tricky when multiple factions are involved, because each faction competes against each other as well as the town. We could plausibly end a day without a majority and then still win handily if the mafia shoot each other. For instance, we could lose our majority as soon as Day 3 (two misses plus a missed dayvig), but the mafia would almost certainly care more about ridding the game of each other than the remaining town at that point.

The mafia also meaningfully lack perfect information, so their control over the pace of the game is far from assured.

Interesting that Eden glosses over the part where Sabi thinks the maf teams know each other. Anyone else want to think about what that means?

meh I decided to be slightly less lazy and think about it myself, and I don't like it. Very weird how serious he is about this whole conversation and yet he ignores that. Actually this whole conversation kinda feels awkward and forced

What did you think about his glossing over that and why did you not like it? I missed it myself to be honest.

Honestly I do agree it feels awkward but that's every conversation I have with eden regardless of it being in the game or not.

I’m only asking to refine your process. We’ll get to a meaningful answer. We’re going to be working together for a while this game, and you want to keep learning and growing as a player. There will be a lot of questions and you will be even better by the end of it
You used the word “contribute.” In the context of mafia, what does that mean to you? (I happen to think I did contribute, but I don’t think it’s in the way you meant.)

So I guess the two mafia teams don’t know each other and rather kill town they kill each other. Somehow a town person is stuck in the crossfire. What is this, West side story? Well I’m glad scum teams are more focused on each other than killing town.

It’s up in the air. They need to keep town divided, but they also need to eliminate each other. Multiple-mafia games play meaningfully differently from regular mafia games, but you can still apply a lot of the same town lessons from previous games.

My instinct as scum last game was to act like I was going to teach Sabi how to play. ##VOTE Eden
