a) Jamie rarely provides value to the town
b) Jamie often provides value to his team as scum
c) Jamie will have an explosion of toxicity at some point

Even if you don't want to get into c, a and b are perfectly adequate reasons to kill him right now in absence of other reads.

c) it's only fair to give him a fair chance if he tries his best and don't condemn before any foul act. Maybe it's only subconsciously but from what I've seen that's still there.

I've chosen not to litigate c) in any of the last three games and he's found reason to become toxic anyway, so I'm done with the benefit of the doubt. I think you're simultaneously underselling him and overselling him on the other two points. There's a reason he so regularly ends up in the position to decide the outcome of the game as town, and his scumgame is strong.

From what I've seen he hasn't been really given a real chance (due to lingering subconscious prejudice), but I don't claim to be able to read minds, so I can be wrong there. I still think you are in the wrong to directly going for Jamie here and think it is kinda lazy and you should up your hunting.

I mean, just look at the sign up thread, nobody cared about his posts and in the game before he was the only town voted out. Are you absolutely sure that he got a fair chance?

Do you not? He had 4 days to make an impact and spent the entire time being idle

From what I've seen as sub in that game I wouldn't have voted him (given I was tunneling my Eden-sabi hunch which turned out wrong doesn't exactly speak for my record but I called out all three remaining maf's in the runner up spot), I more got the feeling then that Jamie was more like a placeholder vote for lacking options. Maybe I'm reading too much into it but it often hits Jamie there.

Kinda like lfischl and ubercatcher are right now and it makes it easy for mafia to jump on these kind of targets.

Hard to say

I'd say your tone was unnatural and stuttery, you were extremely hesitant to comment on freebies, and your lock on durga and ghug as your teammates instead of just floating around to anyone struck me as something only scum could do

I'd say I think damo's shitposting was coming from an artificial place, and his voting on lfischl

I'd say doom's "A+" response actually would get a solid C- from me, and that their tone struck me as someone trying to come off as deliberately nonchalant

But in the end these would just be post facto justifications and the real reason's that I got a hunch
