I do blame jasnah, but I thought hard about how to not mess up my one job. I expected to die for so long after that I checked out.President Eden wrote: ↑Thu Oct 07, 2021 10:48 pmAlso our PRs played great snowy you crazy
worcej got a great docsave to give us our miskill back after we tied (lol)
Chaqa caught Tom and whatever people might think about the inevitability of that kill, it brought a lot of clarity to D2 (our inability to take advantage of that clarity isn't his fault)
TFB's choices were understandable, it was unfortunate that he scanned Bona on the night Bona got docsaved
...I don't actually know who the Oracle isbut I'm sure they were great
And Bunny's claim was very well executed and ultimately got a mafia out, even if you want to put most of the blame on that on jasnah

I think the value of a PR is in being a trusted voice you can rally around, not their powersPresident Eden wrote: ↑Thu Oct 07, 2021 10:48 pmAlso our PRs played great snowy you crazy

Then again, this is because I think I'm literally more valuable than a cop so I may be biased here

I thought you meant more mechanical play. I somewhat agree with that, but at the same time it's kind of helpful in a way if the non-clears are doing the gruntwork, since it makes sorting a lot easiersnowy801 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 07, 2021 10:50 pmI think the value of a PR is in being a trusted voice you can rally around, not their powersPresident Eden wrote: ↑Thu Oct 07, 2021 10:48 pmAlso our PRs played great snowy you crazy

ROFL. He’s alright. I liked him. But he certainly didn’t know me at the best stage of my life. Quite frankly it sounds like the same is true of you right now. But either way, if you *want* to play this game, please come back. I just don’t think you do.

NICEDemonRHK wrote: ↑Thu Oct 07, 2021 10:10 pmMeanwhile, inside Baskin-Robbins
Darren's head bobbed to the beat through his earbuds. He could hear anything else, but didn't need to.
Product was dangerously low, as Gus sinished handing out cones to a family of four while Darren wiped down the tables yet again. He looked up, the shop now empty. Guys looked to be screaming into the back, but without hearing anything but his music it looked like an old silent movie. Darren smiled and shook his head.
THUMP.
Darren's eyes bolted up. Gus dragging Brad by his shirt. More yelling, apparently. A few now empty whipped cream cans rolled out from the back, along with the one in Brad's hand.
Well, it wasn't the first time. Gus railed on in Brads face, as Brad took what Darren could only assume was an extreme verbal dressing down from Gus with an impressively stoic face.
Darren was almost impressed. Gus kept going, and Brad grew paler. Holy shit, was Gus actually going to fire him this time?
Gus finished. Crossing his arms and seemingly waiting for a reply. Brad stood, pale now tunring a shade of green, wheeled, and proceeded to vomit into the cooler.
Gus threw up his hands in disbelief, grabbed his smokes, and stormed out the back. Brad just laughed and headed to clen himself up in the bathroom. Darren sighed as he glanced into the cooler. One more flavor down.
SNOWY801 has DIED! They were LAVANDER SNO-CONE.
Just then...
The phone rang. Gus grabbed it an answered agrilly, "Braskin-Robbins! Tha hell you want?"
"..."
"Sorry Marv, a little heated at Brad. Wait, you'tre WHERE?" Seriously?!"
Gus quickly put out his cig and hurried back inside and to the front. A large box truck pulled up to the curb. A man jumped out from the passenger seat. Gus laughed and shook his hand. "Marv you son of a bitch you are a life saver!"
The man chuckled, "What are good district managers for? Couldn't let you go under."
Gus threw open the back, revealing the emergency restock. "Brad! Darren, get the dollies and get your asses out here and unload! We ain't closed yet."
And thus, peace was restored to the quaint Baskin-Robbins, in the heartland of America...
GAME HAS ENDED.
THE TOWN HAS WON MAFIA 70.

I feel like Chrono Trigger flips all the tropes of the average RPG at the time and that was what made it so good. It started off seeming like any other RPG with a silent protagonist. I went in completely blind and was consistently surprised by what came next. I also adored there being no random encounters. They even deconstruct the idea of a silent protagonist in videogames and it was like wtf.BunnyGo wrote: ↑Thu Oct 07, 2021 10:48 pmLol. Those tears of mine were real. I've been out of the loop in gaming culture since the gamecube probably, but I did play Undertale and again that one was really good because it flipped the tropes you'd expect. And I replayed Chrono Trigger only around 5 years ago and it still holds up.

Yes!! Undertale is the first RPG I’ve played in years. It’s very good. Maybe that’s why chrono doesn’t register is that many games tried to emulate it. So it doesn’t seem original anymore.Fluminator wrote: ↑Thu Oct 07, 2021 10:54 pmI feel like Chrono Trigger flips all the tropes of the average RPG at the time and that was what made it so good. My thoughts on Ocarina of Time aren't mainstream either.

I enjoyed Undertale but I didn't really have a baseline for comparison so I didn't really get the hypeBunnyGo wrote: ↑Thu Oct 07, 2021 10:56 pmYes!! Undertale is the first RPG I’ve played in years.
